Hi all
I will be purchasing a 5 motif MOP and do not live near a VCA store to try sizes. I would be very grateful for some sizing help.
I currently wear a size 17 love bracelet and would love to know if those who also wear a love bracelet went with the same size for their 5 motif or sized up?

Edit: by size, I refer to the link removal in my country they refer to resizing in cm’s ie 19, 18, 17. Whereas in other countries I have noticed they refer to resizing as link removal (1 link, 2 link etc).

Just saw this bag in a gorgeous color blue. I don’t own any Mulberry’s yet-this would be my first. Would love to hear what those of you who own this bag think.

Does anyone remember the name of the Dooney collection from the early 2000s (?) that was a very contemporary
design.... smooth leather with a soft sheen, brightly colored leather lining to contrast to the exterior.
It was inspired by a popular high end Italian or French brand style at the time.
The Dooney Belmar drawstring reminds me of that collection.

Does anyone own this bag? Considering getting it as my go to bag for travel. It fits my essentials for when I travel and seems durable, I just can’t seem to find any reviews of it.

I’ve been looking for this bag for ages and with much difficulty, I finally found it! It’s in excellent condition and came with all of the original packaging (box, dust bag, etc) which is also a bonus. However, the canvas material is a lot thinner than I expected and the bag lacks structure. It also seems susceptible to getting dirty easily. But it’s just so, so cute… I think it’s really unique. Plus, I love the pink. It’s a really tough choice, because I’m not sure I’d use it enough to justify the price… but it’s too cute to let go of. What do you think?

Omg im so happy. I finally bought a birkin 25!! This was of course pre owned in epsom leather around 2005. A little bit of scuff at the corner but I love her so so much. She's so cute. Also got the stamp of authenticity from bababebi this morning so I'm over the moon.

Now I have questions,
Do you ladies leave the sangles out from the metal ridges when you're using the bag ? Why or why not. I'm scared of scratching the metal plates if I keep them in the ridges.
Although this bag is almost 20 years old the metal still looks so shiny .

When keeping the birkin do you buckle everything up ie move the big flap and close everything or do I just leave it open?

I've never had a brown bag before. If I wear a black coat will I get colour transfer ? Or do I have to exclusively wear lighter colour coats ?

Do you tie 1 twilly on the handle or is it overkill if I tie both handles? I want to preserve the handles you see. =)

I’m partial to gold hardware since most of my jewelry is gold, but I’m not completely opposed to silver! I’m looking for something without a chain… maybe a leather strap? Something comfy and cute. Visited Fashionphile two days ago auditioning a Beige Caviar & Silver WOC for an upcoming wedding trip. An "Excellent" preloved was $3730. I didn't bite thank goodness :/ Went to Nordstrom yesterday looking for shoes, and walked out of the Chanel boutique with a brand new one for $3300! I am tickled pink as this was my first brand new purchase - the other 21 Chanel bags I have are excellent preloved. I have to admit I pranced around the Mall the rest of the day with that little shopping bag, box, ribbon & Camelia with such a sense of glee I don't take anything for granted as I grew up pretty poor, but in that moment I really felt like "I made it." Whoever says money can't buy happiness never had a Chanel! I'm loving all of her little compartments, and the SA showed me three ways to style her chain from a shoulder length to a clutch! So versatile! This morning I paired her up with her "Mama" a Grand Shopping tote in the same beige caviar. I think it's neat that she'll function during the day but also as an evening bag. Woot woot!!!

I have never sent anything for repair before. Is this just normal wear and tear?

Hi all! I bought this loop last summer. I’ve worn it only a handful of times. Once with jeans and it shows some strong wear from that day. Will attempt to avoid this happening in the future, but is this something they Bottega can repair in the future? Any advice or experience with this? Thanks for your input.

For some context, I'm trying to pick a ring for my ring finger on my right hand. I had previously tried out the Hermès CDC ring, but the sizing was too large and they don't have any rings available in the size I need (47) for the foreseeable future. I don't ever change up the positioning of my rings since the size changes so much depending on the finger. This is the last finger that I still need a ring for and I was just in Cartier narrowing it down to three different styles.

Please help me pick which one you think looks best! And please note that they didn't have my size in the boutique so some of the rings may look like they fit incorrectly for that reason.

Has anyone purchased van Cleef in Rome? What’s the tax refund like? I think in Paris it’s around 10-12% for van Cleef. I’m not sure whether it’s better to buy now in Paris or buy it in rome depending on the tax refund? Would be grateful for advice

Has anybody bought from the Mulberry Pre-Loved section yet? What are your experiences? Have you had to send it back because it wasn’t as good as the pictures showed? Did it have a bad smell?

My Dooney and Bourke Buckley Bag has just arrived. First impressions are this bag is absolutely beautiful. It’s lighter than the large Florentine satchel. This is my first drawstring bag and it’s amazing the way drawstring is all on the inside of the bag. This makes the Buckley look so unique. I got it in navy with natural accents. I don’t have anything in natural and I’m a bit scared of this color. I’m looking forward to using this bag this weekend.

I am wanting to buy a 5 motif bracelet and currently torn between MOP or a gold (hammered or possibly guilloche). I plan on wearing the 5 motif with my love bracelet. I currently have 1 VCA piece (MOP necklace).

I would be really grateful for any insights into the wear/tear of the MOP 5 motif when stacked - does it cause the MOP to become dull?

This piece is something that I would want in my collection forever. I am not fussed about scratches but more so whether it means the MOP would become dull etc.

I've been looking at this for a while but can't find any reviews or "real" photos of it. I assumed it was a popular bag because tod's has made so many colors of it but perhaps not.
I love the modern simplicity and while it's small, I feel it should hold a fair amount of items on account of it's width. I don't have a tod's boutique in my area so many opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!

I had ordered a necklace awhile ago and the stone wasn’t the right color to match my bracelet. I sent it back to my SA and she said she would do store credit instead of refund in the hope that the company would send her one that closer matched my bracelet. It’s been crickets for over a month and a half now. I’ve texted her to check in once and she said they have not gotten the color in and that fingers crossed, hopefully they will get one. Originally, she had led me to believe that she had a better shot of getting the right stone if she did the store credit instead of refunding me. But now I’m out over $8k and have nothing to show for it and there seems to be no urgency on her part. Any advice? I’m not sure if this is normal for this company or if I should try calling other boutiques to see what they have in stock. Please note, I don’t live close to a boutique so have been doing everything over the phone. Thanks

I own a few classics in jumbo and mini size and really love both. Interestingly, I don't have a medium size flap and to be honest never really thought about it.

For Those Who Love classic flaps, is the medium size considered a "holy grail" bag and what are your thoughts on it? I have the option to choose between black caviar with silver hardware or beige with gold hardware. Out of the two, which would you choose?

For black bags, I have the following :
Black mini caviar with gold hardware
So black boy bag
Frame in chain

Beige...
Dark beige boy bag with gold hardware in caviar

I keep going back and forth between the two but am leaning slightly towards the beige.

How do you store your wocs? I have seen a previous thread where people mention standing them up with chain tucked in but in a separate thread about storing caviar classic flaps people said they alternate laying them on their back and standing them on their sides. Wondering why they have different storage advice when the leather is the same and if having my woc laying on its back with the chain out of its dustbag is going to be ok or would anyone advise against it? And does anyone stuff anything inside their woc? I dont use a base shaper and dont plan to buy one x

I have a 5 motif carnelian bracelet and for the last 6 months I’ve been thinking of getting a vintage alhambra pendant. The thing is I can’t decide if I should get it in carnelian or onyx. Would an onyx look strange since I’m already wearing a carnelian bracelet?
Will like to know what you ladies think, thanks.
