Hi Everyone— I’m hoping to get some quick advice from you all. I just got offered a K25 Epsom Leather Noir after a 3:1 spend. I have several K28 (Togo, Evercolor, Box) and B25/30 (Togo/Swift). This is my first size 25 and my first Epsom. It’s my dream bag! But after having her for about 4 days I noticed that it creases in the back a lot when I open it. Then the crease disappears when the bag is fully closed. Is this something normal? I have a few more days to return the bag but Im having trouble letting it go because I dont know when ill be offered this dream combo again and my spend will startover at the end of the year. Can you please share pics and advice if you have this bag even in other color combos? see photos. TIA

On a time crunch in Paris.

Can anyone please give thoughts about these two bags? Both vintage from the 50s (I think). I would be interested in ANY information including thoughts on these prices. My friend is in Paris and the shop will close in a couple of hours. I don't know if she can get back tomorrow or not. I am not a Dior or YSL person and could not help her.

Hi All, After seeing the PB article on the new Polene Nodde, I decided to pre-order two: one black, one cognac, both with the contrast stitching. The black one arrived today! So here are my unboxing photos and first impressions, including comparison shots to other Polene bags and to a Gucci bag that's a similar size.

CAVEAT: The contrast stitching in these photos appears far whiter than it does in reality. In actuality, the stitching is a light beige color that works well with the black leather and should go with the cognac too (have not yet received that one).

I am obsessed with this messenger bag, does anyone own it? If the price wasn't $4,000 I'd jump on it in a second. I used to love Prada, then moved over to LV but wanted a simple work bag and just can't stop looking at this one!

My gold love bracelet is less than a month old (well my husband bought it in may but i only put it on 3 weeks ago) and today i dropped a bowl and in an attempt to catch it i banged my bracelet against the counter and chipped the edge terribly and scratched it pretty badly. I am not sure what to do except cry lol. I became so distraught and emotional i immediately took it off. Any advice?

I am eyeing this bag on the pre-loved market. It looks like it was a very limited release, empriente speedy bandolier 20 with a front pocket. If anybody knows what I am talking about, I would greatly appreciate you telling me if a cell phone, iPhone, pro, but not Max, would fit in this front pocket.

I purchased a vintage (1991-1994) Chanel red double flap bag on Vestiaire collective for a really good price, 1400 euro. It was too good to be true, the bag has been redyed (original colour was also red) and Vestiaire spotted that in the authentication check. I'm battling back an forth if I should accept it was redyed. From the pictures I can not see that it was redyed, besides that the bag seems to be in okay condition (not great, just okay). But it's hard to say if it really looks good without having the bag in front of me. So it's a bit of a risk, trusting the pictures where it's not really visible that it was redyed.
I always buy bags with reselling in mind, because I love switching out bags once in a while, but will I be stuck with this one? Do you guys have opinions that can help me make up my mind? Would love to hear them!

Hi everyone - I am hoping for some advice on how to proceed with my situation.

Over a month ago, I visited the VCA boutique at Americana Manhasset to request extending and thinning the posts of my sweet Alhambra earstuds. None of the SAs at the boutique were able to tell me the price of the alteration/repair so I let them take my piece for a price inquiry. They told me that I would be contacted with the price before proceeding with the repair. When I initially called 2 weeks in, the SA told me that she would look into it if I hadn't heard back in 3 weeks. Since over 3 weeks had passed with no updates, I called the boutique early last week and one of the SAs told me that it would be $205 for the repair, and that they could either extend or thin the posts, but not both. This conflicts with the information I heard from the 5th Ave boutique because while waiting for an update from Americana Manhasset, I did contact them and they told me that both requests were possible in one repair for $180.

I requested that my earstuds just be returned to me without any alterations because I would rather visit the 5th Ave boutique and have the posts be both thinned and extended at once. The SA on the line told me that it would be at the boutique within a week and now that a week and a half has passed, I have yet to hear from them. I have called them today for an update and they tell me that if I was told it would be here in a week, it'll be here soon..

At this point, I don't want to call continuously for an update and just want my earstuds back. I usually visit the boutique at Americana Manhasset out of convenience because it is closer but this has left a bad taste since I have to reach out constantly. I am a bit confused on how there is conflicting information on the price of repairs - does it differ by boutique?

Hello everyone! I’ve been on the hunt for bags that have some similarities to the Kelly bag but aren’t too similar. I want a bag that looks like it’s own bag and is unique and not a look-a-like. I’ve done tons of research on these forums and elsewhere but I haven’t found the dream bag. I’d love to get the actually kelly one day, but it’s way out of my price range. I know that a lot of you are fashion experts and know lots of products, so I really need your help!

These are the traits I’m looking for in a bag:
Beige/tan/lighter nude color (prefer warmer tones but if not it’s fine)
Mini/small
Classic and simple
Unique but has some similarities to the Kelly especially the trapezoid shape
Structured
Lighter weight (not too bulky)
No logos or very small ones
Hardware can’t be too eye catching such as being too big, be a rod, or be a circle
Under $2500

These are some examples of bags im attracted to and the reasons I don’t want them:
Valextra Iside top handle mini Bag in cachemire beige (exactly what I’m looking for exact it’s way out of my price-range)
Furla 1927 top handle s in ballerina (very close except I think it look a bit too much of a look-a-like because of the metal hardware in the middle)
Demellier nano tote Montreal in taupe (very close except I’m not a fan of the very large hardware)
Dolce and gabanna Sicily medium bag in light pink (it’s getting - bit far away from the trapezoid shape)
Aspinal of London mini Mayfair bag in soft taupe (it’s very close but I don’t like the croc effect and the size and color combo doesn’t exist on the website)
Launer traviatta in buttermilk (a bit big and too expensive)

These are some examples of bags im not attracted to and the reasons why:
Fendi peek a boo (not structured enough
Lee radzwill bag (too similar)
Le sac de jour (too boxy and heavy looking)
Polene no 7 (too square and I don’t like the circle hardware)
Strathberry nano tote (I don’t like the metal rod with the 1 handle)
Valentino vsling top handle bag (I don’t like the V logo)
Mirta Erica bag (too similar)
Salvatore feragammo top handle (don’t like the circle hardware)

I have just realized that my favorite type of purse is a small to medium sized nylon unbranded bag [with a small cloth or leather 'handheld' handle, and if possible also a long shoulder strap too]. I have a bunch of these types of bags and never noticed they are all similar lol! Stupid I know.

I have several Longchamps of course : ) Are there other brands/bags that are black [or other dark colors], unbranded and nylon that I should investigate or try?

Hi, I know you can get the 5-motif bracelets adjusted size-wise. But what about the 10? Does Van Cleef do necklace adjustments too?

I am purchasing my first piece and after doing extensive browsing on tpf I’m now struggling to choose which pendant to get! I went to see it in Harrods last night (the last 2 photos) but it didn’t seem as lilac as I had envisioned (also photo against my skin). The first picture with the two pendants are the current stock at selfridges. I’m not sure which one I prefer - the one on the left seems more lilac which I like but the right one is more “interesting” but is it too busy?

Lastly - I have harrods rewards which I collect and have an amount on there that I could use - but selfridges are saying they do not transfer items? It seems other brands (Cartier, de beers, etc.) all seem to accommodate for this but not VCA - is this true?

I bought a grooming bag 6 weeks ago and it already has a hole in it. Bought it new through an SA, have used it 3-4 weeks of normal use. Anyone else had this problem? What do I do??? I already reached out to the SA but haven't heard back yet. I'll give her a little time.

Took the first step on my Hermes journey today with the purchase of two Twillys from the Manchester store. I went for Epaulettes de Gala and Parade en Fanfare. I had planned to buy one and a Twilly ring but they didnt have the ring so I got two Twillys instead.

Also tried on some bracelets so I know my size as they will probably be by next purchases, and the lovely SA gave me some perfume samples which are lush.

Really happy with my first experience and purchases.

I've placed a couple of orders recently and none of them have shipped. They all get a tracking number assigned via UPS but they simply sit there "waiting for carrier pickup". One was a strap from Coachtopia and after 12 days, two chats & two phone calls, they finally agreed to reorder & that is one of two still waiting for carrier pick up after another two days have gone by. Hi all! I am considering buying the Fendi baguette in the Fendi jaquard fabric (brown with the FF logo). I was comparing new price to the used prices on Fashionphile when I noticed that the condition report it says that the fabric is pilling on a couple of them. I have a small Fendi crossbody in that fabric - somewhere between 8 or 10 yrs old, and it looks like new. For the price they are charging I would expect it to last forever.


Is this a recent problem? Have any of you experienced pilling with your jaquard bags? Thanks in advance!
