I’ve been looking at the Alexander McQueen Bow bag online. It looks fresh and different.

I can’t find any reviews on it. It was only released for Spring 2022, so fairly new.

Anybody seen it IRL or have any feedback about it?

Need advice, please! My friend purchased Mutli pochette in Hawaii for me. It is beautiful! But, I noticed that there are these really deep scratches/cracks on both D rings of the large pochette. Considering this is a brand new bag from the store, should I exchange it? I have the gift receipt. I am worried that these deep cracks will lead to chipping since everything clips onto those D rings. Has anyone else seen that on LV bags? None of my other bags had this issue before. Keep or exchange? I am just dreading the attitude of SAs if I take it in to exchange. But also for 3k, the bag shouldn’t have such defects, imo. TIA!

Does anyone else have this bag and can offer advice?

I’ve ended up making a duplicate purchase to compare the leather on the Toteme belt hobo bag after my first one (left) arrived with big creases.

The 2nd one is much better but still has a slight fold in the leather down the middle. Is this typical in this bag style?

5+ years ago, imo, vintage, whilst it had its lovers, wasn’t as popular as it is today. But since then, ruthenium and silver hw has moved way for 24 carat bright gold. Styles once considered grannyish (maybe a small very worn Diana) are the epitome of cool. What was once considered worn (box calf, older lambskin) is appreciated for its character and patina. Even the move towards neutrals and small bags is reminiscent of 80s fashion rather than 2000’s hobos and large pink cambon bags with silver hardware.

I am pathetically all swept up in this trend. I’d like to say that my style is separate from trends but the reality for most of us is that the fashion of the day of course unconsciously shapes our preferences.

What do you think? Is vintage so timeless that it is here to stay? Or in a decade will I regret overcommitting to the aesthetic, wishing I had a more varied collection and some more newer bags / less bright gold hardware? (Picture for eye candy, this topic is just for fun. Pictures welcome!)

I was in New York City this weekend, and saw a lot of the new releases, which was a real treat! I was told by the SA that he heard that they were going to release the speedy 20 in reverse monogram. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor?

Richemont has a new database to curb thefts. So far 6k have registered. This is helpful but what will really curb thefts is the secondary platforms. I think they ought to require proofs of purchase to resell.

Is it just me, or is this bag quite overpriced and ugly? What is the appeal? To me it looks like a makeup bag...their marketing team has clearly been handing them out to 'it girls' in an effort to make this a new It Bag, but the design is lazy IMO. Thoughts?

my pretty accessories for my Dooney’s. I know they are coach but they look very nice with my Florentine satchels and Buckley bag. I loved this print from the discontinued coach Peyton collection. pouches were $15 and under. Silk scarf $20 silk ponytail scarf $35 and the jewelry case was $60.

Calling for diamond experts…

My husband and I have been looking for an e-ring upgrade but we are lost at the color and clarity. I know they are important but if we go with color H and clarity VS2 it would still sparkle nicely right? How important is Fluorescence? We are looking for no fluorescence but a lot of them that we look at have medium or strong.

The questions are what is the lowest Color and Clarity should we look at? How important is Fluorescence? TIA!

I am having some problems deciding on the colors of kellys. I plan to add one kelly 25 and one mini kelly (both epsom sellier) to my collection, from resellers. However, I am not sure what kind of color combinations I should have for them. (I want different colors for the two bags.) The colors I have in mind: gold/chai, etoupe/etain, craie, blue brume. These are all neutrals and I believe they will be a good fit to my wardrobe.

If you were me, what color would you choose for the kelly 25 and mini? Thank you!

I’m asking specifically for myself as a woman in her early 20’s. I’m not sure if I should wait until I’m older to have it as an aspirational piece. I’ve recently requested this exact watch without the diamond bezel (fluted instead) from my local AD. Some time ago one with the diamond bezel came in and I went in to see it. It was SO beautiful, but it was also a lot flashier than I had initially expected it to be. Ultimately I had decided to pass on the diamonds. Now I’m wondering if I should consider the diamonds? I like this configuration both ways (I really do like the fluted bezel too!)… I also don’t want to change my mind too many times with the AD. There are just so many choices. The picture is from the time I tried on the one with the diamonds. It’s beautiful, but I think I hesitate 1) because I want to be able to wear it everyday and 2) because in a way it feels like something someone who is more established/successful should be wearing, rather than a student like me. I’d appreciate all advice and thoughts!

I’m travelling to Europe from Australia next month and am looking for a cross body bag that can take me from day to night, I really want to limit how many accessories I pack. Probably in a neutral colour so that it can coordinator well with many outfits.

Does anyone know of any nice quality bags that will also have a zip (I’ve been told to be weary of pick picketers so a zip is a must). I’m looking to spend around $100 AUD.
