I am looking for a 'special' bag - knowing myself, I have narrowed it down to two options -

constance in chevre leather

roulis in ostrich leather

Leather choice is super important to me - I want a leather that excites me when I use the bag, that makes the bag special but also wears really well.

The two I found are both amazing bags but they would serve the exact same purpose and I can't possibly afford both. Would appreciate your input!

The clasp recently broke on my 2011 classic box. Just the spring under the clasp has broken everything else is intact, It needs a new spring but Celine said they have no more replacement springs for this clasp. The current design of the classic box clasp is different. I have attached photos showing the broken spring (circled in red) compared to an intact spring (circled in green). Has anyone else had this problem? Did you get a better response from Celine? any other ideas?

Has anyone replaced their Pochette Metis leather strap with LV? Or know how much LV charges for new one if I were to get it through them? I lost mine while traveling and would like to have an idea of how much they charge for a new leather one. TIA!

hello , so im usually over at Hermes but i love Vuitton, especially trunks, and i have a soft spot for multicolor, I just do,can't explain it.....just makes me happy, so i was browsing and found a boîte flacons and alzer,vachetta tanned and HW with patina but over all for white multicolor very nice, interior pristine. so i go online and find that prices for these pieces are all over the place ,so the small boîte was 2.2Kusd and the alter was 4.8Kusd, i purchased them love them, but i can't seem to find much information on these trunks, were they rare some are crazy expensive online so i have no reference, anybody have one were they a good deal i wonder?.... so dear vuitton friends help me out with any information you might have.thankyou best ! I'm so happy I finally got my personalized Horizon 55 (took about 4 months to receive and then another 4 to get the nerve to carry it on a plane ) BUT because the handle is so wide, none of the trolley sleeves on my usual duffles and totes that I use will fit over it. I can only sit a bag on top and use a Cincha travel belt. Has anyone found a bag with a wide enough trolley sleeve that will slide on? Any brand? Thanks!

I purchased a Neverfull MM DE in Spain. It was one of the bags on my list, but originally had my heart on a speedy 30b but they didn’t have it in the DE print. They also didn’t have the Gravefull MM in any print to try.

Now that I’m home, I’m wondering if I should try the Gracefull MM and potentially exchange it and risk possibly never being able to get it again with this new waitlist? Haha

I’ve always wanted the Neverfull (even though I am not much of a tote person) and just love the slouchy hobonesss of the Gracefull but some of the reviews aren’t great (quicker wear and tear/hard to get into).

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

My double face cashmere jacket have many have holes on them. I think it’s from carpet beetles cuz I found a small shell on the garment bag. Does anyone know where I can have it repaired with a good job? I don’t mind mailing it. I have take my other cashmere piece to repair. They didn’t do a good job. They didn’t mend it, they sort of sewed the hole together. Thank you in advance!

P.s any experience with getting rid of carpet beetles? I have tried cedar but didn’t seem to work too well.

I can't get the sac chasse out of my head - it looks great, has a rather unusual design and seems to be around for some time.
But I have never seen it in real life and apparently it is never in stock in any of the LV stores that I visit. Has anybody hera an opinion on the sac chasse or maybe even owns one so that I could get some information from experience?
The bag is EUR 3.100,- at the LV store, a pre-loved one is between EUR 1.000,- and EUR 1.600,-, so it would be sensible to make the decision to buy one on more than just photos.

Do any of you wonderful ladies wear the love bracelet or other Cartier jewelry in a corporate environment and if so, how is it perceived?

I currently do not have any Cartier, but am interested in a few pieces of the love and juc lines. I am wondering if it would be looked down upon or result in not being taken seriously by wearing a love bracelet or love/juc in a corporate environment. If you do wear Cartier to work, please share the type of pieces and whether you have received any comments / different treatment as a result. TIA!

Dear all, I am absolutely torn, what to do. I bought this fantastic bag in like new condition but for my taste, the straps are too short. It is mend to be a top handle bag . I just purchased a cartier tank must in the small size. For anyone who has purchased recently, are you supposed to receive an authenticity certificate or instruction manuel? I received the box and the cartier care card with my serial number on it but I didn't receive an instruction booklet or anything with the actual Cartier stamp on it. I have heard that some people only receive the care card but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything with this purchase.

What do you think is the best bag for funerals? I want something black, minimal hardware, minimal logos, hand-carry (either clutch or top handle), structured, and either traditional shape or a shape that could become a classic. It should be large enough to hold a wallet, phone, keys, lipstick, and of course a handkerchief.

I saw the Coach Sammy and Sammy 21 and they are almost there. The Sammy only comes in brass hardware however, which makes the "C" logo very prominent, which I don't like for a funeral. The Sammy 21 has a black-on-black which makes the logo less noticeable, but I would love other options that are even less logo-centric. Also, the Sammy 21 is a bit smaller than I prefer. It is okay if that is my only option, but I really would prefer something even just a smidge bigger.

I prefer a quality leather.

I would rather not pay more than $1,000 USD, but for the right bag, could go a little higher. But it would need to be really perfect for me to spend more than that tbh.

I'm deciding to go for either the sweet alhambra necklace or bracelet. I do have a Cartier JUC bracelet and thought to get the VCA bracelet to continue my stack but tbh the necklace is more expensive so thought the fiancé could purchase the necklace and maybe later I get the bracelet? lol
