My husband and I each bought a Cartier watch from different stores last week - him from Cartier directly and me from an AD. Neither of us got a travel pouch, which was a big bummer. The boutique told him he could choose a presentation box OR travel pouch.... is that a thing now??? Does anyone have suggestions for getting a travel pouch? I use them all the time when traveling with jewelry and watches.

I am looking for a stacking bracelet to go with me signature Perlee bracelet and was wondering what others think. I took this photo at the boutique and definitely would appreciate others opinions.

Hi everyone. I know a few here own the older style vintage 6 diamond love. Can you share your thoughts on it? I've got 2 newer styles and I occasionally see the vintage ones available for purchase. I'm nervous about the possibility of losing screws, so I've debated adding the small love with 6 diamonds but am not sure I'd enjoy the size. Any feedback is welcome. And here's a shot of my 2 (which I do at times stack with others so this is not a need by any stretch, I just really like that bracelet format)!

*I asked this in the Florentine thread before I was able to make my own post. Thought I would start a stand alone because now I can LOL, and also to get more feedback.

For reference, 95% of my collection are vintage D&B bags. The only newer bags of D&B I own are: 2 Florentine satchels, and 1 Florentine wallet.

When I first got my Florentine satchel, I was taken aback that it was made in China. I thought I bought a fake. Anyways, I’ve come to find out that D&B bags are now made in Italy, Mexico, China, Vietnam. And I know the letter on the serial code corresponds to where the bag was made. The serial number in mine starts with J (China).

Some have said straight from the D&B site and/or flagship store are US made. The Florentines that are made in the US, have a different colored leather inside (not the green). Honestly, the information is all conflicting. I’m hoping someone here can clarify this for me. Thanks!

Hi - does anyone know the rules on buying Chanel in two different countries, in terms of purchase limits?

For example, if I’ve bought a bag within the last 60 days in the UK (where the rule is one bag every 60 days) can I purchase another in Paris?

I have wanted to add a Pochette Metis to my collection. Initially I was leaning towards monogram canvas. However, I find myself drawn to the Empreinte noir. Then they added the Lockme oxford and I am now paralyzed by indecision.

I would use it for an everyday bag so I do worry about the weight of a leather bag?

My style is casual but we do eat out and or travel quite a bit.

For those that have both canvas and Empreinte which do you reach for the most?

I carry the large Empreinte key pouch, agenda pm, cosmetic pm, and glasses. Would these fit?

However it has initials and apparently sticky handles as described by the seller.
Also it has no pouch.

I know I might be able to remove the initials but not sure about the handles if it’s fixable?

where do you guys sell handbags? I have never sold any of my luxury handbags but I'm getting to have too many. Not a bad problem to have-I know, but space is getting tight. It seems like the ones people used to love all have terrible reviews now - fashionphile and realreal? Are there other places I'm unaware of?

The mailman delivered my pre-ordered Tilton in the color navy. I'm BEYOND pleased with my birthday unicorn bag. This is what I expected(to feel) with the first Tilton in chestnut, and didn't get. This unboxing was everything I hoped it would be... I exhale.

I have a strange situation, not sure what to make of it. Anyone familiar with the pillow boots? I have them in black. The laces are mono canvas. Last week I noticed LV took them off the website so it seems they are getting discontinued. I love them so I had my CA order them in khaki (they were still available to order). I had her bring in 2 sizes….both had plain brown leather laces. Weird. Yet every picture Ive seen if them and the old website listing show mono canvas laces. What might be the reason for the plain laces? It obviously wasn’t a mistake bc both pairs had them. Any ideas? Anyone else get them with plain brown laces?

Bought this on TRR as a piece I was going to drape on our mantle for $150. When it arrived, I could tell immediately it was a knock off - polyester, and crap stitching. Sent it back for them to reauthenticate, which took two weeks, only to have them insist its real and offer to reconsign. They said it was restotched by a professional!!! BS!!!! Whomever sewed the edges used such a crappy needle that it created runs in many of the stitches. Guess I'll use it as a dust rag So done with TRR!!!! They suck! An expert behind every item - I think not!!!!

Hello fellow bag lovers! I was so excited to add the wine coloured empreinte speedy and matching wallet to my collection. I even got a bag charm for her. I asked my new CA for heat stamping as I wanted my initials on the Emilie wallet. Well, I got home and the letter “S” is upside down! I’m really bummed about it. I’m including some close ups of the heat stamping so you can see what I’m referring to. I’ve never experienced this with the heat stamping on my other pieces. Has anyone else experienced this? Can you fix a heat stamp issue? Will LV exchange an item that’s been stamped if it’s been done incorrectly? Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice or guidance.

Well, she's here! Just acquired this Kelly 32 Eclat So Flash in Tadelakt, Rubis & Rose Tyrien. Not sure how I feel about her? There is some fading on front, which I can see under where sangles sit, so not sure she's a keeper? It's hard to catch in photos, but visible in last pic, which shows under front flap. Not sure once cleaned and conditioned that it'll be less visible? I want to love her because she's more rare, being a So Flash. I adore the Rose Tyrien inside! I paid $7,700+ for her, which seems like a great price?Appreciate advice on cleaning & conditioning - not sure what to do with Tadelakt? I have Luxegarde on hand. Thoughts?

I had a free morning while in NYC on business and made my way to the VCA Exhibit, “Garden of Green”, at the American Museum of Natural History. It is a small exhibit within the Museum’s standing exhibit on gems. I’ve included a few photos here. So many beautiful pieces. I highly recommend it if you are in NYC and have the time.

I need your help with my next purchase…
I have been saving to buy one medium CF and was planning to get it as a gift to me for Christmas… I have always wanted this bag ever since I can remember but I have always postpone getting one… with the sky rocketing prices I sort of feel like it is now or never…
But I am now torn because I found a Chanel 19 in excellent like new conditions at a really great great price.

I think I might use the Chanel 19 more than the CF but I am afraid it is a trend bag and might end up regretting getting that and sort of giving up momentarily once againon the CF…

Please help!
