I bought this bag a year ago and absolutely love it. My first real designer purchase. However I’m wondering if these wrinkles on the top flap are normal/expected? I’ve used the bag <20 times.

I am trying to buy a cologne for my man's birthday. This is the deal though. I don't know how it mixes with his skin chemistry. How do I get him to sample some because he hates to shop. Let's face it. If he smells good, I like it. He is wearing some cheap stuff that cost about $2 max. I am trying to get him to upgrade a little and especially for date nights. This is a birthday gift and I don't want him to know and I don't want to offend him. Any ideas? Has anybody else ever had this dilemma? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I hope you know what I mean by this, but I’ve seen some ladies twisting their 5 motifs to shorten them rather than permanently resizing them. Does anyone do this on a regular basis and does it work for you? Is this a bad idea and will it damage the bracelet over time? Any thoughts welcome! Happy to share some pics of the new collection that is supposed to launch 1st of June : the Perlée collection expands with turquoise stone in YG (it did exist in WG for bangle, ring, pendant and earrings if I’m not mistaken).

I could try them at the boutique : well not the bracelet as it was an XS size and even my SA could barely fit in (she has tiny wrists).

As I bought the lapis pendant and have other plans for turquoise stone I didn’t ask to purchase anything.

Swellgal and family are immigrating to Canada and our nearest VCA will be the Vancouver boutique. In my search for information on this location, it sounds like people have posted some negative experiences, unfortunately. I’m wondering if anyone has an SA that they recommend (or any to stay away from)?

Also, does the online boutique for Canada share inventory with the US? Because I was trying to access the Canadian page (from the US) and they appear to be the same, just with different currency.

Lastly, I am coming from a very small boutique and I am concerned that due to the large population of Vancouver and the fact that there are only two locations in all of Canada, my annual spend will never get me anywhere close to a holiday pendant or any other little gifts/perks. Can anyone speak to this?

I’m treating myself to a new bag after a recent promotion. I have the Small Andiamo in Pinecone and love it. I think I want to buy the same bag but I’m stuck between Barolo (quite wintery shade?) or the new Cinnabar colour.

I also am debating going totally the other way and wondering whether to get the YSL raffia Icare as I don’t have a designer summer / beach bag.

A few ladies in the Rediscovering thread suggested making a “finds” thread. I hope it’s ok to kick one off here. This is across the pond in the UK but looks to be a great deal on a 2008 Stam in Plum colored washed goatskin. A gorgeous lovely lavender/lilac shade that’s not too pastel or too saturated. I loved the color so much back then but couldn’t afford a stam so I purchased a zip clutch wallet instead which I still have and cherish. ☺️

I thought I’d post my new Hobo brand bag. It’s the Harley Hobo in taupe. It’s a soft pebbled leather. I really like this brand. I could not find a thread on it, but if I missed it, please move my post. I’m 5’8” for reference.

I finally have a classic love hinge bracelet in YG on my wrist! DH and I picked up at the NYC flagship location on our 20 year wedding anniversary.

If you are able to purchase in a boutique, I think it is worth the trip. We were brought to a private room with 2 glasses of champagne, sparkling and still waters, chocolates all set on silver trays next to beautiful fresh flowers. Our Sales Associate brought the wrapped bracelet on a tray with a travel pouch, cleaning kit and the authenticity certificate. She offered to video me unwrapping the box and my husband putting the bracelet on me. Afterwards she presented us with a gift: 3 little trays for trinkets.

IT WAS THE BEST!

Before the price increase, and days after we paid for the love bracelet (to be picked up weeks later) I ordered online a small JUC with diamonds bracelet in YG. The order arrived a few days later in a beautiful large white box with the wrapped bracelet and authenticity card inside the box. No pouch or cleaning kit. I called customer service and they said for online orders those items are sent only by request. I asked for them to be shipped to me and I still have not received them.

I just picked up a replacement strap for my speedy B 25 at LV today and had my 2 and 4 year old with me so I was rushing around and didn’t open it up until I got home and each clap is different. One piece was sourced in France and one piece was sourced here. What would you do? Or is this typical? One is a yellow gold and one is lighter more cool toned gold. It looks better than my wrinkled strap I had before (I’ll insert a pic) but I paid $415 plus tax and it should be matching IMO. I’m overlooking the fact that it’s matte as it is and my speedy has the older shiny leather

Hi! My 13 y/o DD will be graduating from middle school on June 23rd (the graduation will be indoors). It's getting close. What do people usually wear to graduation as guests? I'm new to this. Which H bags will be appropriate? Any outfit ideas? Do I have to dress formal? If I take my B25, will people likely stare at me?

My late mother always told me that you wear redder or darker lipstick in the winter (colder months) and pinker or lighter in the summer (warmer months). Like the white before and after a certain day as well as matching finger nail and toe nail polish. Of course people including me don't wear much in the way of panty hose, but my mother wasn't fully dressed in less she had them on. Is this lipstick rule gone like most of the other ones? If I like my lipstick color and it looks good on me, then can't I wear it at any time. I mean what is wrong with that?

I have been living in France and the French Hermès site is not as good as the Italian site. Just google Hermès Italia and make sure it is in Italian.
The Italian site offers more choices including some sought after pieces like Jypsiere Mini and Evelyn.
I bought some rare pieces, like Kelly Sac a Dépêche 36, Jypsiere 28 and even a HAC a Dos PM.
However, the last year I learn a few tips -
You are allowed 2 bags per 6 months (they call it semester). And it doesn’t matter whether it is man or woman.
So, to give you an example, I bought a Bolide Messenger (new model) and an Evelyn 29 between April and now (May 30), and I cannot buy more.
I called them today and was told this rule.
I asked about other bags but they are very cagey.
But, I know Garden Party is not on of these restricted items.
I am not into Kelly or Birkin but it seems Hermès doesn’t even want you to buy too many bags.

After waiting for months for the small yellow gold frivole earrrings my SA texted that a pair was available. Of course I had it delivered same day but now I’m unsure whether the size is appropriate for a 43 year old.
I asked about the large and was told that it was out of production for 3 years?!
Do any of you knowledgable woman know anything about the large size please?
