I have a vintage saumur 30 in excellent condition (patina is still very light) but the vachetta is feeling a bit dry. I keep reading mixed reviews about apple cleaner & conditioner, Cadillac, and I also heard about loving my bags. What are you all using? Any recommendations on which one I should use without damaging my bags? Thank you!

I have a question for knowledgeable people here. I found a Hermes jacket for sale at one of Paris vintage stores. Seller says it was never worn. They sell it for half of retail price. Im just surprised by the price and I’m not sure could it be fake? Is anyone heard of Hermes RTW are replicated? Thanks in advance.

Was in south France recently and purchased 2 Apple Watch bands and a Porte Cartes H card holder/wallet. Couldn’t find the cardholder/wallet anywhere else besides the boutique in Nice. Checked in Cannes and Monaco as well and it wasn’t even in their inventory. Is it possible those are store or city exclusives?

Hello everyone, I had a very interesting day.

Today, while picking up the scarf I ordered online from FSH, I suddenly found myself on the upper floor. I mentioned my request for a Kelly. The SA spent a long time looking at the bags downstairs and returned with 4 boxes.

Two of them were Evelyn mini, one in gold and gold; the other in black.

One was Helzan.

The last box was a Constance Elan in Etoupe.

The SA recommended that the Constance Elan was not considered a quota bag for today (it will change in 6 months) and that it would not affect my chances of getting a Kelly offer. He specifically encouraged me not to take it and said he thought I would get the green Kelly I dream of very soon. He even asked me how to say "it suits you very well" in my native language and memorized it.

Afterward, I had an appointment at the Sèvres store to pick up my plates for our new apartment. It was with the same SA who gave me a Picotin the other day. We selected beautiful plates. We also looked at pillows for the living room. One plate was missing, so we ordered it. Once the process was complete, the SA told me to email her when I know the dates of my next trip to Paris and gave me her card. As I was leaving, she said, "You are very kind."

Now, within two weeks, I have acquired a Picotin 18 and a Constance Elan.

I am very confused.

Hi everyone! I recently got engaged and I love my Tiffany setting round brilliant ring. I've been trying to find a wedding band that'll look good with it and also not overpower it. I tried on the Soleste half eternity and the Tiffany Forever Band Ring in Platinum with a Half-circle of Diamonds, 2.2 mm. What do you all think? Hi everyone, I am thinking about passing down an old JUC ring to a family member and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with asking Cartier boutique to rewrap an old piece in the white packaging and wax seal? I still have the boxes and everything and was wondering if anyone knew what the policy is around this.

Got it off Fashionphile and it was described as “excellent” condition.

I know that the caviar was discontinued in the mini size, so I assumed it was a good buy (plus I love the color) but wanted to see what you all thought?

I wanted to share my most recent purchases with everyone. Admittedly, I have been away from LV for quite some time. There were two collections that I instantly fell in love with.

LV kept dropping cool items that I had to have. The problem - I was late because these collections dropped months ago so everything was already sold out. Well what does one do when you just have to have something - stalk! LOL. Also the “notify me” feature does work but you have to be quicker than quick to buy or it is gone.

In addition, I have had a rough year and a half due to health. This year is a huge milestone birthday (7/6) so I definitely wanted to spoil myself. I will reveal my purchases leading up to my birthday !! There are two items that I still have not received yet, I will reveal them later.

Let’s start with the Flight Mode collection. I was able to buy the passport holder. The red interior is the perfect contrasting color. I’m glad I was able to get something from this collection. The vintage feel is pretty cool.

Hi everyone! I'm going to Japan soon and am planning on buying a pre-loved Chanel bag.

I have a small Chanel collection:

Black medium Reissue with gold hardware
Black Boy with Ruthenium hardware
Navy small Gabrielle

These days I lean towards more casual bags and my most used Chanel bag is the Gabrielle.

I have done some research (I know Japanese so have been browsing sites like Rakuten Japan and Yahoo Auction Japan) and I have found some bags I'm interested in but due to limited funds I can only get one of the following bags:

Chanel 19 in black with gold HW (lamb skin) - I'm a little obsessed with the 19. It looks very functional and is the last bag that Karl Lagerfeld designed.

Hey lovely people! Needing some advice please - I’m considering purchasing a preloved datejust 36, 2014 with box and papers from a respected/trusted jeweller in the UK (attached pic). It’s in great condition and will join my DJ TT 31. The only issue is, it has an aftermarket dial and this is my concern. I believe Rolex won’t service/touch anything that has been hampered/changed. It is only the dial that has been changed so my question is, would you buy it, has anyone else on here got an aftermarket dial? Am I overthinking this?! I know I can get it serviced elsewhere….. not planning on selling it so wondering if I’m worrying about nothing!! Any advice gratefully received. Thanks!

Hi! I've been bitten by the pearl bug and particularly can't get Tahitian pearls out of my mind. I have researched google advice and understand about luster, color, and shape, but I have a few questions that I'm hoping you good folks can answer.

Any recommendations on the best places to buy Tahitian pearls in the US? I have no idea where to go for good quality at reasonable prices (would rather spend money on the quality of the pearl rather than the cachet of a brand name).

Is it more affordable to buy them loose and then have a jeweler string them?

What size pearls do you recommend for a necklace? For those of you with more knowledge of pearl trends, what size likely has the most staying power?

Depending on the cost, does it make any sense to buy a few pearls each year and have them strung once I get enough for a necklace? I'm thinking it might work since Tahitian strands don't have to be color-matched like the white ones do.

Finally, I have a friend who is going to Tahiti. Any advice for her on pearl buying while she's there?

I'll start by saying I am very annoyed with Loewe but I am trying not to let it spoil my feelings about the purchase.

I visited a new Loewe boutique on the first day they opened while on vacation. I purchased the bracelet pouch in warm desert. I loved it and planned on keeping it but it was actually an impulse buy and I did not research any bag first. My husband and I agree it's so cool and different but it was bought on a whim frankly.

The SA told me I could return it within 14 days. So when I went to return the bag to my local store today 10 days after purchase they said no way its exchange only. I called the boutique I bought it from and they said the same thing. The only way I could see the return policy is AFTER purchasing the bag. The SAs explanation was wrong and they will not honor it.

Now I have a limited time to exchange or decide to keep the pleated bracelet. I love the puzzle and flamenco but refuse to spend another $2k to remedy this and want to get something roughly the same price or keep. The other comparably priced bag I like the most is the hammock in tan calfskin. It is decidedly more minimalistic, (some would argue plain). It matches better with my Loewe belts and shoes that are in this darker tan. And it's more durable leather. The bracelet is really an interesting piece but wondering if practical should win over here. Both go with my style which is contemporary, and I don't really have any similar bags like these.

Do you have experience or a personal opinion about either of these and what you might recommend I go with?

I tried them in store before but kinda remember there were small and large sizes. Now the website only says one size which is 1.46carats for 14diamonds in total.

Also, does price increase ever hit this one? May I ask what size and price it ever been? (White gold or rose gold)?

Just starting another months thread to start posting all our goodies here. I can’t believe it’s already the start to the second half of the year. How 2024 has flown by.!

I bought this preloved (Japanese reseller but Hong Kong-based branch), and realized the strap is strange compared to other Flamencos I’ve seen - it lacks that adjustable middle section that makes the normal strap so easy to use (adjusts between shoulder strap and crossbody). The little tabs on each side technically “adjust”, but only a few inches, so it’s all still very long. If I kept this I’d have to get the strap custom-adjusted, I suppose.

Going down a rabbit hole, I’ve found one mention of early Flamencos having non-adjustable straps, but can’t find any pictorial evidence of this.

Has anyone seen this before? This even somewhat makes me question authenticity… but everything else about the bag looks spot-on.

I’ve been hearing/reading on social media that the Kelly Cut is being discontinued. Anyone know if this is true or just rumors?

1.A couple days ago I went to Hermes, the sa insinuated that I have a bag coming for me. I was really excited guessing it was a mini kelly, yesterday. I got a call: x, can you make it into the store today. I have something you will like. Little do I know, it’s the Olympic gold Constance.

I was really grateful for the offer, my S.A. knows me very well. I took it out for a spin that evening right away. Here is a modeling pic with it
