Hello, I am considering buying a second hand Chanel Classic Flap Medium, gold hardware, vintage. It is ca 1991-1994 but the serial number is rubbed off. Would you dare buy it from a private person?

Is it possible to see from these images that the purse is authentic?

I am not mistrusting this seller by default, but I am just having a bit of second thoughts due to no serial number.

Having taken a break from shopping to focus on travel, a wonderful SA helped me buy a simple orange and yellow bracelet! It isn't perhaps for daily wear (in terms of care, I wouldn't sleep or shower with it) but it will be good for summer.

Hi All! Trying to decide on a Messika necklace for everyday wear on its own and also for occasional layering. I’m debating between the move uno pave and the gold move uno (non-pave). If I go non-pave, I’d also consider the baby move (the one with 3 diamonds).

Do you think the pave is too fancy for everyday/casual wear? For non-pave, does the baby move (3 diamonds) look better than the gold move (1 diamond)?

Does anyone own this bag or a bag similar to it with lambskin Napa matelasse stitching? I’m wondering if the stitching “flattens” or deflates over time. It’s a big investment considering I won’t be able to wear it everyday (because of the light color and it being lambskin) so I want to make sure it’ll be worth buying. Also, how delicate is the bag? I treat all my bags well and store them in dust bags when they’re not in use but do you have to baby it when you’re wearing it because of the soft leather and light color?

My niece has graduated from college this year, and I want to treat her to some nice jewellery. I’ve narrowed my choices down to two options:

• Love necklace in YG with interlocking rings and diamonds (one ring is covered in pave diamonds)
• C de Cartier necklace in YG/RG (I’m aiming for the .4-.5 carats one)

I believe they are pretty similar price wise (C de Cartier one will probably be a bit more expensive, but that’s ok).

Which option would you prefer and why? I’m honestly stuck. C de Cartier seems to me as a timeless classic necklace, which she will wear for many years to come, but at the same time, interlocking rings are so fun and interesting, with pave diamonds adding a bit of chick to it. My niece is also a very active person, and she tends to wear all her jewellery 24/7. Which option will be the most durable and carefree?

Hello!! I just had my 30th birthday a couple days ago and I would like to buy myself a piece of jewelry. I’ve decided on either the sweet mop Alhambra or sweet mop butterfly bracelet. I can’t decide, I think the butterfly is very underrated which I like (it doesn’t scream vca) and i already have a sweet carnelian necklace, vintage Alhambra necklace in gold, 5 motif Alhambra bracelet in onyx and regular sized onyx Alhambra earrings.
But the only thing holding me back from getting the butterfly is I feel like it’s too young & possibly too trendy/cute ?

Hello!! So I have a love ring that is on my right hands ring finger, it is size 51… and I want to buy a thin diamond eternity band to stack with it. The site I want to buy from is US sizing and I unfortunately have not tried it on. I’m not sure if I should go for a 5.5 or a 6? Because on cartiers conversion it says a 51 is a size 5 3/4.
Does anyone else wear a 51 and stack with another ring that’s US sizing? What size did you get! Help!

1) So I spent a good deal of time yesterday in a boutique since the nearest one to me is 2.25 hours away. I get there anywhere from a couple of months to 8 months. I have a regular SA there. The last time I was there 2 months ago, I asked to used the restroom and she told me "It's out of service". I was there yesterday and asked and she said 'It's out of service'. I go to the other nearby boutique and they never bat an eye if I ask to use their restroom.

2) I have been told that when they send you stuff, they will no longer provide a return label if it doesn't work. So that means the return is not only on me, I have to insure an item worth $$$ if I decide to return. I am not going to spend several hundred insuring something I decide not to keep.

This is the only boutique I have heard this from so far. Is anyone else hearing this? I don't want to identify the specific boutique. I did talk to the manager at the suggestion of my SA about the return label thing. I don't blame her of course. She says the company has changed the policy to 'be more sustainable'. She actually cited 'less paper' as if printing a return label was going to destroy a forest or something.

Hi All, I've been eyeing the Celine Folco backpack (full size, not mini) in the Triomphe Toile and am wondering if any of you have it or have considered it?
