I have some makeup on my togo leather gold birkin. It bumped against my face when I was holding it and was in a rush to get out of the car. How do I clean it? Its a small spot from my foundation.

Does anyone own this ring?
I think I want to buy as a thumb ring but not sure if it will be awkward the way it sticks out!
Any experience would be great 😊

I’m new to VCA. VCA doesn’t have any boutique in my country yet but I’ll be visiting Italy soon and I want to purchase Sweet Alhambra 6 motif bracelet and a matching ring in rose gold.

However, I can’t find Sweet Alhambra ring in rose gold on their official website. Has VCA stopped making them or VCA has never made Sweet Alhambra ring in RG at all?

I only found Vintage Alhambra in RG on their website but it’d be too bold/big on me.

Totally forgot to reveal this, but I had nabbed the puzzle tote while I was in Barcelona. This was the color way they had. I don’t know too much about the brand but if this helps anyone, this fits my 14 inch MacBook Pro. I used it for a bit but then stopped because I was afraid of it getting worn down quickly. Would love to know if others had the same concern with this colorway. I’m aiming to get an item on each overseas vacation to remember it by for my closest and for my home. I got my first piece of art and pottery as well. Just need to frame it. I had no idea how expensive framing was!

i have a beautiful boy bag I purchased before I became a mom. I got it in Japan many years ago after searching for this specific one in multiple Chanel stores in Canada and Japan. It’s size medium, chevron with ruthenium hardware. I love to look at it… but I never wear it especially since becoming a mom. It’s too boxy on my frame and sticks out too much.

I have my sights set on a black Chanel 19 as it seems more practical as a mom but it seems to show wear and tear more rapidly based on photos of pre loved Chanel 19s (wrinkles on leather).

My questions:

1. Those who have a Chanel 19, does it show wear and tear easily?
2. Is it worth it to sell my boy bag so I can get Chanel 19? Does Chanel 19 retain its value if I were to change my mind and want to sell it in the future?

Hello all, so I purchased a pretty beat up Balenciaga but all original (not re dyed etc) to use and abuse especially for travel. However one of the corner studs is missing. I realized I had an original brass hardware repair stud in my stash and thought why not make her look a tad better. However I realized the only way to re screw the stud on was to through the lining - which would mean I'd have to make a small tear in the lining to get to the other side of the leather. Has anyone else done this before? I know I probably shouldn't be hand wringing over this as I can re sew where I cut for the stud pass through - but just wanted to see if anyone else had re applied a stud and if this is the process you did too.

I’ve been looking into purchasing an emerald set this past month. But I’m a little unsure if I am doing this right. I found some inspo pieces. I.e. emerald cut emerald bezel set tennis bracelet, emerald oval band, and either a toi et moi necklace or studs.

I’ve used google image to find sensibly priced premade items or loose stones and it’s starting to get a little overwhelming. I found a couple of jewelers but their estimated prices are a little all over the place when I come them to each other. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a speedy 20 DE and i am worried the fabric strap will get dirty especially since I have a 5 year old around that always seems to have sticky/saucy/dirty fingers.

Has anyone sprayed scotchguard or some sort of protective spray on the LV fabric straps?

I was giffed roberto coin necklace, and it has ruby and good engravings as it should be but the clasp is on the LEFT side to put necklace on and off.

The chain is NOT removable, and I wonder if this is defective or counterfeit. All the other ones seem to be aligned but it is so weird to me that the clasp is on the left side.

Does anyone know? Thanks

DH wants to get me a gift for our first baby due later this year. It took us a few years to conceive so we’re both really excited. Our budget for the gift is around $7000-$8000.

I currently own: Cartier YG love cuff, SS tank francaise, onyx amulette necklace, VCA mop alhambra necklace, plus some Mikimoto pieces. My wedding set is platinum and a round solitaire.

For the gift, I’m deciding between the following.

- Cartier WG love cuff with one diamond: I wear my YG cuff all the time. It’s so simple and low-maintenance. It does bother me a bit because my watch is SS. The WG cuff would help tie the pieces together, and I really like the look of YG and WG loves together.

- small WG love bracelet with diamonds: same logic as the WG cuff. I also like the look of this pairing but wonder if the cuff and bracelet wouldn’t align well. Also less low-maintenance than the cuff because I would worry about the screws loosening and wouldn’t be able to take it off any time I want.

- YG JUC bracelet: this is so pretty and classic and has been on my wishlist for a while. It’s something I would want eventually one way or another, but I’m not sure if it’s as meaningful as a love. Plus it doesn’t really resolve my two-toned problem.

- SS or TT Ballon Bleu watch: I’d tried this on when I bought my Tank Francaise and honestly thought it was the beautiful watch I’ve ever seen! I wanted something very low-key for everyday so still went with the TF, but my heart still skips a beat every time I see the BB in the wild.

- Chanel CF or Boy bag: I have a Chanel woc that I wear all the time and have been wanting a “real” Chanel bag for a while. I’ve always LOVED the Boy bag but worry it’s out of style now. While I don’t love the CF on me (I gravitate more toward slouchy Givenchy or Balenciaga bags), I love the idea of getting one for something as monumental as the birth of our first child and would really enjoy wearing it on dressier occasions.

I will preface this by saying that I did not buy my bag in boutique. I have a wishlist with my SA, but I also knew my ultimate dream color was very much a longshot (in no small part because it fluctuates in and out of production). Instead, for this particular color, I decided I would look on the resale market when I felt like I was ready. So several months ago, anticipating a big milestone achievement, I went on the hunt for the bag of my dreams.



I honestly wasn't too picky when it came to this color. I thought it looked cool and casual in a birkin with palladium hardware, elegant and classy in a Kelly with gold hardware. I was even looking at mini lindys and Evelyns, though when I found a mini lindy for well under retail, something held me back. I think part of me knew I was waiting for the perfect quota bag.



I almost pulled the trigger several times, and once even nearly bought a birkin 30 in my second favorite color combination...but being patient paid off, because what I ended up finding was very special indeed.

I admit I hesitated on the size, because I have a 32 sellier and it does sometimes feel too big for me. But I scoured tpf and YouTube for mod shots and experiences and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! I love the slouch, and being retourne, it doesn't feel too big at all. She fits my ipad, so is perfect for work, and I similarly think she'd be great for travel. I also got a thick canvas strap for her and I really like the look. The icing on the cake was the price. With big bags still being out of fashion, she was listed (full set, including paperwork and rain jacket) for just over $7k.



The only problem is that I love the color in the Kelly so much that now I want one with gold hardware too 😆

what are your thoughts on keeping bags you NEVER WEAR? i have a black caviar and silver GST that literally sits in a box. i’ve used it less than 10 times in 10 years — i haven’t used it in the last 3 years. keep or sell!?! its not that i NEED the $, but if i sold then id probably get something that i’d ACTUALLY use!

I don't love them as much as I used to. They, like other designers have resorted to making their bags either super small/micro or very large. I used to like the Small Jet Set Travel Tote. Now it only comes in Mini (waaaay too small) or Medium which is actually huge. It is often difficult to distinguish their made for outlet bags from their boutique bags. Lately the boutique prices have been marked down crazy low (sub-$100) which indicates these bags are just not selling. The last boutique bag I got was so poor quality and looked nothing like the color portrayed, I could not return it fast enough

Here are my suggestions:

1. Produce true size small/medium bags again
2. Leave MK logo bags as outlet only bags
3. Start including dustbags again instead of charging $5 extra. Don't include dustbags for outlet bags
4. Make bags in more colors. They recylce the same 5 colors over and over

Anyone agree that they have gone down hill? If so, what would your suggestions be?
