I'm a newbie to the Tribute line of shoes from YSL...

I'm considering the Tribute booties and/or the Tribute pumps--they are both the same height in heel and platform right?

Does anyone have either or tried both on and can shed some light on fit/comfort (well comfort for such a high heel shoe anyways--figured the platform would help some LOL)

Also...does anyone know why some have blue and some have yellow colored soles?

I haven't tried on either admittedly but I'm pretty sure the colour of the sole depends on the leather of the pump/bootie.
For example the black patent trib too pump has a turquoise sole... I've heard they are quite comfortable and the pump runs relatively TTS and in the bootie you should size up half a size. But I'd wait till someone more experienced than myself confirms this

Post pics please if you get either, I love them both... but no YSL store where I am :(

I purchased the bootie in 37.5, ok fit, would have preferred 38 (true size). The 38.5 would have fit w/thick insole, but too large around ankle. I recently purchased the ankle strap patent trib too in 38 and that is TTS. Have not worn either one, but those are usually 'dinner' shoes for me...
As far as the color of the sole, I think I read somewhere on this forum that the blue soles were from the YSL stores and the yellow were from all others (something to that effect). Will do a search and post results.

I talked with a SA at YSL and told me that the booties are true to size and that there will be a new line this season.

so look for them at your local boutique.
