ysl ruffle in or out????

I Have and will always love the ruffle bag. Is it too trendy and out dated ....or should I go for it??? HELP ME???

If you love it and will wear it then it will be a classic for you and won't be outdated. Besides YSL does not get old it becomes vintage.

I love the ruffle bag. I saw a girl out with one (with a bone handle) and it was absolutely gorgeous! It took me forever to find out what it was. I've been looking on eBay for one with a bone or wooden handle, but no luck thus far.

Guess I'll just keep waiting!

I get your dilemma! I have friends who definitely find the St. Tropez bag passe and wouldn't be caught dead carrying it. Personally, I love it; especially in the pale colored suedes with the leather, not horn handle. I do find the small size too small- medium is much better. I hope they go completely "out" so I can buy them all up really cheaply!

Hey all..I'm new here but I just ordered the YSL chocolate brown ruffle bag off of eBay and am expecting it soon. If you'd like I can take some photos and post them. Also, if you catch the Weekend Getaways program on the food network with giada de laurentiis--she is carrying the bag in the episode where she is in San Francisco. I fell in love with the bag on the show and scoured the internet until i found it on ebay. In the beginning of the show it's the brown one but I think she has the black one too..what a lucky lady. It looks very classy..the ruffles are very understated---at least it looks that way on TV! I'll let you know how I like it but I think it's still stylin'...

what size did you get? I've been scouring eBay too looking for a chocolate brown one after seeing that same Weekend Getaways episode, lol. I've become obsessed with it. I'm looking for a small one though, I've only seen the larger size in choc brown. Post pics when you can!
