YSL Boutique Presale starts today

I just got a call from my YSL SA about the YSL presale and also pre-fall and fall colors. I was too excited to get all details but it seems there's a GC event on the 28th with pre-sale starting today.

He said for the first time OS muse are on sale -- don't believe that's true but anyhoo ---

Also, OS Muse in buffalo leather for prefall is 'melon' ... I asked for a photo bc Spring 08 'watermelon' was the furthest from watermelon red or green I've ever seen! He said melon as in honeydew (dang! I prefer cantaloupe!)

For fall, OS Muse in buffalo leather is 'road grey' ... color of asphalt maybe?

In any case, I'm getting the nude patent at sale price ... which is great bc i loved the bag but went with grey patent.

Anyone have any more info on prefall or fall???

The patent OS Muse I'm getting is $839 which is ~35% off $1295 -- if that's its current retail. I don't know if this presale is related to the May 20 sale mentioned in another post.

I was just there today and was told this information:
Yves Saint Laurent: Spring/Summer will be mostly 40% off including many styles of bags and shoes. The only bag NOT included in the sale is the Muse2. Tributes, Uptowns, Downtowns (even black and white) and Overseas WILL BE included in the sale. I saw the sale list and it's long. Knock yourself out.

I heard the Besace flap is coming in brown ostrich.
They are also doing a black silk version of that bag?
It is coming in a turquoise moc croc and plain leather, almost an electric blue.

I am dying... that is my dream bag. So I am on the list for that and the grey OS Muse.

He also said that this time the pre-fall stuff will be in early... Next few weeks. I am thinking July.

any chance the Y-mail wallets will be included in the sale? I have beeen so unfortunate today.. I called the outlet, both gucci ( 2 outlets cabazon and woodbury) and ysl but the SAs are not friendly!

Check BlueFly early each morning. THey often pop up.

Was at the SCP boutique and they are presaling...

The bags that I remember, mostly 35% to 40% off....

Tribute, white, patent white, patent gray, I think it is $895 for the small size and $995 for large...40% off.
Muse: patent pink and patent grey/bluish....meidum $1095, large $1195, and OS $1295, believe that they are 35% off....
Downtown: gold, patent red, grey....I think it is $1395 for the large, 40% off....

My SA said that it was the first time oversized Muse bags in PATENT went on sale.... buffalo has gone on sale in the past though.... bordeaux, khaki, violet, etc... but I am pretty confident this is the first time the patent is. I already got mine :-D

a little advice anyone....does this mean the fall 08 bags will be on sale soon so that 'pre' ordering for instance with Saks online at regular price is not good idea?
sorry i am still new to all of this! too exciting!

no... it just means that spring bags are going on sale. the fall bags are still new and wont go on sale until around xmas if they even dol
