why my two downtown bags have different designs???

Hi YSL lovers,

I'm new to YSL bags and just got my two downtown bags in ivory patent and metallic silver.
The ivory one comes with identical back and front -->Both sides have a buckle strap on the left and right side of the bag and also a center expandable zip pocket. The silver one has one plain side and one elaborated side (with buckles and zip pocket).

Is it because they are from different seasons or what?? It's the same style. Shouldn't they look identical? Anyone gets the answer for me, please.

There are two downtowns, the deerskin that does not have pockets and the buffalo (i think?) that has an outside pocket.

^And the patent Downtowns have TWO exterior pockets, one on each side.

And don't certain downtown styles have 'Y-S-L' stamped on the bottom?
