which YSL???

im looking for the perfect *school* bag...

im considering the YSL o/s muse(very roomy and classic), YSL rive gauche(has shoulder strap and twist-lock)

which would be a better 'investment bag'?

i would be putting a laptop and tons of books, which do you think would work better?

btw, this will be my first designer *manbag*.

I would not put a laptop in either. The bottoms are not that sturdy and it could misshape the bag. But if this is going to be a school bag I would choose the Rive Gauche.

Hi Hansyu!

I love both your choices! I have an OS muse and love it, but it tends to get heavy with a MJacobs zip clutch, a cosmetic bag and a Treo phone. I am not sure how much it weighs without stuff in it, but you may want to consider the weight of the OS muse over your shoulder or hands, if you are planning to stuff it with books and a laptop. Let us know what you decide!

I have the OS muse and used it for college, but I didnt put a laptop in it, just at most a couple of books. It can get really heavy though, but it can hold ALOT. I think both options are good. But im going to vote rive gauche, its not as common as the muse and has a more functional look to it.
