I just read very unfavorable reviews about this bag @ Bagsnob.com I, personally, find this upsetting! I looked at the bag & thought it was youthful looking and functional but I don't like what they had to say about it and thought you should know.

^It struck me as odd that Bagsnob reviewed the Besace yesterday because the bag first came out more than a year and a half ago. Also just wanted to point out that this is a very old thread that's been called up--its from March 2008.

I like most of the YSL bags but I love Basace. Truly the definition of smart casual for me.
Even if this is an old thread others interested in the bag will 'call' it up |

I emailed YSL and they found the besace in blue/grey degrade, however its a whopping $2,295 USD... still deciding whether to invest. its absolutely gorgeous, as i saw it in real life at Cult Status in Perth, Western Australia |
