I just read very unfavorable reviews about this bag @ Bagsnob.com I, personally, find this upsetting! I looked at the bag & thought it was youthful looking and functional but I don't like what they had to say about it and thought you should know.

^It struck me as odd that Bagsnob reviewed the Besace yesterday because the bag first came out more than a year and a half ago. Also just wanted to point out that this is a very old thread that's been called up--its from March 2008.

I like most of the YSL bags but I love Basace. Truly the definition of smart casual for me.

Even if this is an old thread others interested in the bag will 'call' it up

sorry if there has been any confusion - I 'revived' this thread because i was trying to find a blue 'degrade' besace and somebody had mentioned this on this thread (see pic in previous post above). Its the same colour combo as the Muse comes and i hadnt seen any on here.

I emailed YSL and they found the besace in blue/grey degrade, however its a whopping $2,295 USD... still deciding whether to invest. its absolutely gorgeous, as i saw it in real life at Cult Status in Perth, Western Australia
