Anyone ever had this problem? My choco brown muse is around 2 months old and already, there are long threads sticking out of the leather holding the ring for the straps - where did this come from?? THis is of course apart from the front stitching which is coming undone, and I know some tpfers have suggested remedies, i.e. super glue.. just wondering though how to handle these long threads - should i just cut em?.. any advise will be appreciated.. thanks...

^So sorry, I've NEVER heard of this happening to anyone's Muse. I hope you don't mind me asking if you are certain its authentic? Was it bought preowned or new? If it was bought new, you certainly should return it to the YSL boutique or department store where you purchased it, because that kind of wear after two months is inexcusable.

i bought it from the ysl shop here in HK!!! hmmm will try to get good pics of it, its disappointing, really. Early on when the front stitches were kinda coming off and I told the SA here, they said it really happens. Sigh.. but I still love it anyway ....

I was all about buying the muse, but a gf who bought her muse from a ysl boutique had the exact same thing happen...Her's is the brown buffalo; it is authentic and she takes meticulous care of her bags (and all other things), so it made me decide against getting the bag. She took it to the boutique and they said there was nothing that could be done and things have only gotten worse. Basically the bag lived it's life at the end of 6 mos.

^That's too bad. My chocolate brown buffalo Muse is two years old and going strong! No major quality issues at all.
