Tall Downtown vs Large Downtown????

Anyone can tell me the difference between the two sizes? Also anyone has any pictures of the green downtown. I was told it's not army green but a dark green. Which can mean many things to different people? Thanks

The handbag versions are the Mini Downtown, the Medium Downtown and the Large Downtown. There isn't one specifically referrred to as the Tall Downtown, but the Large is 3" taller than the Medium, so I would think that if you're seeing one labeled as Tall that it's really the Large.

Then there are Downtown bags that are part of the luggage collection. I think there are two sizes and these are referred to as carry-on Downtowns. They are much wider than the handbag versions of the Downtown.

So I don't think the terminology is quite accurate, but if you're seeing bags labeled Tall and Large which look different, my guess is that the Tall is really the Large handbag and the Large is really the carry-on luggage.

There have been a variety of green colors including dark (forest) green, cypress green, olive green, and mint green so you'd need to see a picture first of anything you order to make sure it's the green you want.

the large downtown and the carry on downtown are NOT the same thing.

the carry on is a completely different beast entirely.....the closure on the top isn't even the same, it has a full top zip instead of the 2 half zips as the other downtowns.

Yes, I agree, that's what I was explaining to the OP. That what she is seeing called the "Tall" is probably the Large Downtown handbag and what she is seeing called the "Large" is probably really the carry-on luggage. I mentioned that the terminology she's seeing isn't accurate for these bags.

The green on the Deerskin (no pocket)is a forest green. While the green on the pocket Downtowns is olive.
