Yes. If you wait until the 21st most everything will be gone via the pre-selling. A half hour on the phone (my long distance minutes are free) ringing up some stores, asking for handbags and then asking whoever picked up "Do you have any YSL bags left on sale?" yielded some amazing deals. And no parking hassles!

i just left Nordstrom at fashion valley in san diego... i bought a medium muse two, croc embossed nubuck, in sky anthracite for $1160.

first birkin, i know they had another in the system but i'm not sure which store, so you might call your Nordstrom and ask them to check.

i also saw...
- rust besace, croc embossed suede,under $800 ($760 perhaps?)
- dark brown besace, croc embossed suede, under $800
- rose/tan besace, croc embossed suede, $1160?
- dark gold/bronze besace, volcano, around $800
- rose/tan medium muse two, croc embossed suede, $1160
- red majorelle, patent?, at least 40% off
- black patent overseas bag, at least $1100
- black rive gauche, at least 40% off

... and several others were on sale. sorry i can't be more specific. i was there briefly and can't remember them all. at least two other muse twos and maybe a tribute. jennifer at (619) 295-4441 x 1250 can help you out.

as for NM, the fashion valley location already sent out their last call items.

mas2388 and miumiu108 - i'm sorry to hear that. it was definitely the RG. maybe she confused it with the black overseas? the RG was not on the same display as the other sale YSL, so perhaps she overlooked it, or it was purchased. anyway, i'll try to go tomorrow and check.

I'm on a hunt for a oversized muse, so i called the 2 outlets (woodbury and cabazon). The beige oversized muse was on sale for $999 plus an extra 20% off. I'm not crazy about the color, so anyone interested, call the outlets.

I had a picture sent by both outlets, but the colors seem to be off. they both said it was beige, but the pictures look different. It may be the lighting?

BTW, if you're intrested in the large, it's $899 plus the 20% off this weekend.

I just called and talked to Michelle. They also have patent red croc quilted tribute handbag and a large Muse II in blue/beige and a large Muse II in the raspberry/blue/beige. The raspberry color Muse II is $999 + 20% off = $799

For you Besace fans, Neiman Marcus had a leopard print Besace that a salesperson told me the manager found hidden away by an employee ($2000, then the 50% off), and several small gold Besaces.

I believe that the besace were marked down 30% from $1895 to $1295 and with the additional 50% makes it $647.50 before taxes.
