Default Received My Roady
I got the red. The color is tdf. The fit not what I was hoping for. It fits on the arm but the leather rubs under the arm. I have had this issue before. Don't love the deodorant marks it leave. I also find the bag a little too similar to my RM Nikki which I got for less than half the price as the Roady. I am thinking about returning. Not sure it is worth the price or will round out my collection like I was hoping. But it has to be said the bag is beautiful.

i've just came back from ysl boutique. i've viewed & tried on few of their Roady bags (the black plain lamb skin leather, red & blue calf leather, grey faux stingray leather, roady chain in nappa leather & black lamb skin leather with stingray handle). the Roady bag looks very plain as it doesn't have logo prints on the bag/leather. you only can find the logo on their hardware(near the handle).

Among of those bags, i like the black lamb skin leather with stingray handle the best, as the handle looks very glittery under the light/sun. i was told that singapore ysl boutique only carries 3 piece of this roady bag with stingray handle and it's limited edition. other colors/bags not so worth to invest on as the prices are around $2000 sgd & above. btw, the stingray handle's price is $2970sgd. i've almost bought it, but the bag don't have any compartment except a small suede pouch which attached to the bag. i prefer a bag with at least 2 compartments & one phone pocket, else i will have difficulty in fishing my stuffs out from the bag. in the end, i told the ysl associate that i would like to consider about it first before i let her swipe my card. ;p

About the fit, i understand how you feel, it's kind of big bag. but the

I agree with you that the Roady with the stingray handle is the best one. I also agree that the sole suede pochette doesn't help much with organizing things in the bag. Also, the bag is quite deep and dark, which may make finding things a bit challenging.

The bag is beautiful, but the price is 1400euros here which is considerable for a pretty plain bag.
I am thinking about it as well. I may go and test drive again this week.

I've been thinking about a Roady as well but it sounds like it needs a purse organizer like Purse2Go or one of the other ones.

I really wish some of these designer bags had more pockets.

The Roady is not for everyone. To me its just a big, long expanse of leather; too plain and shapeless. I've never cared for unstructured hobos, though.

Hmm..I have been intrigued by the faux stringray bag in the gray-ish color, so I am going to try and see that one. I am thinking I won't like it--- as Cosmo said that it looks like "just a big, long expanse of leather; too plain and shapeless". We'll see though!

I received my black pebbled Roady and it is wonderful quality and beautiful. But it is also big, plain and a lot of leather. I wanted to love it but it is pretty overwhelming. So close...

Here is a picture. Sorry about the obstructed view. When I have more time, I will add more.

thank you for sharing the pic! the texture and the color is TDF!!! as you mentioned, it appears that there is not much room under your arm... it does look very similar with the Nikki! well, good luck with your decision!

I love the bag in the red color...I would use it as an everyday bag because its not too flashy and can be worn with just about anything.

You will have more room under your arm if you fold the leather over at the snap closure. By doing this it will allow more of a drop/room and it will be a lot more comfortable to wear.
Love the bag on you!
