Question Question for those who have a large patent muse?

I just received my large black patent muse from BlueFly. I wanted this for a shoulder bag. It is too big to be a satchel.

But, I find that the shoulder straps are a tight fit. Will they get flexible over time? Or should I switch it out for a leather muse?

Thanks.

I've got a patent-leather Downtown and regular-leather Muse, and I don't think that in either case the straps have "stretched" enough to make much of a difference from their original drop length.

Sorry you don't seem wild about your Muse. I carry my Oversize Muse by hand as a tote/satchel most of the time.

I guess you mistakenly opened two threads on the same topic.

I have OS, and its OK as a shoulder bag - fits just fine. I guess it depends on the size of your size comparing to the size of the bag. However, i would recommend to carry it by hand - I've noticed the external (Y) threads are coming loose when they run against the rough clothes.

I can get the Oversize Muse up on my shoulder without a coat, but with a heavy coat, its too tight. The Large Muse drop is supposedly about 1" longer than the Oversize, fyi.

Thanks y'all. The drop is 8 inches, and I am not skinny and there in lies the problem. I really need a black shoulder bag. I so love the muse, just have not found a size that works for me.
