^Just go to YSL.com and see it for yourself! You can see a sneak peek there right now. Or can you not see it in Canada?

Once the Manifesto is out, there should be lots of new merchandise available!

Bagsnob has another review of a new YSL bag

Quote:
YSL- The Seven
By Bag Snob Tina on February 12, 2009 6:00 AM

YSL not only makes the coolest bags of our generation; they give them the coolest names, too. This super fly chain mail bag is simply called the "Seven". (And yes, we actually do want to carry it 24/7). Made in simple granada black leather, it is the perfect combination of wild and chic. It just screams disco glam-- does it not make you want to break out the sequined halter tops and glittery body powder hiding in the back of your closet? We went nuts over the chainmail Chanel bags but this, this is way better! The Chanel chain mail is like that middle aged mom in her teenage daughter's hip hugger jeans and tube top trying to be hip. The YSL chain mail is hip. The Seven above is the small version for $1,530, there is also a larger flap bag (fabulous!)-- call YSL to order-- (310) 271-4110

^I really don't know how to make it clearer than the explanation I already posted above. You can see the Manifestos for past seasons on YSL.com as well.

It is going to be my next YSL bag.

So far there are two sizes: a wrislet and a large.

I absolutely love the Zip hobo. It's simple, yet so chic and elegant.
The Seven is another gorgeous bag from this collection. It's so edgy.
The metallic blue Easy is stunning too.

^Lol!

For me, I'm actually kinda holding off on another YSL purchase until fall. Its just that I've assembled a big bag collection over the past couple of years, and I'm trying to cool down and enjoy what I've got. (Plus I've been neglecting my house and need more furniture!) I'm planning on buying one more bag this spring, a Jimmy Choo, actually. My *second* love.

Anyway, from the spring YSL line I definitely like the patent Easys, the Sevens, the Madison bags... maybe even the Bow satchels. I've become more accustomed to the look of the Bow bag since I first saw the pics about six weeks ago. (I think at this point I can appreciate the bag's beauty from a fashion perspective but I'm not sure it would be wearable with my lifestyle/wardrobe.) I tend to like fall colors more anyway so I'm gonna chill until then!

Hi All-

FYI, the Seven bag dimensions are as follows:

9"W X 5"H X 3"D, 12" chain handle, price @$1995. Not as big as I thought. This will be the only shoulder bag size. The other option is the wristlet.

^Hmm, confusing. I've only seen two sizes so far: the small shoulder bag and the wristlet. But the Bagsnob report says: "The Seven above is the small version for $1,530, there is also a larger flap bag (fabulous!)."

Hi Cosmo!

YSL Bal Harbour and Tina at BagSnob confirmed the dimensions I noted. I know that the write-up was confusing. I am a little disappointed at the dimensions. Not sure how practical it would be... It is still so chic!
