^^^Something about the strap width/shape and the hardware sort of vaguely harkens back to YSL's Byzance/Pergame bags ???

I noticed that the new regular leather Easys posted on ysl.com are smooth leather, not bubbly leather like fall 08:

The large Bow bag is big--about as big as an Oversize Muse. But you can see in post #111 that the Bow bag is coming out in two sizes, medium and large:

Bagsnob now has a review of the Bow Bag:

Quote:
The Y Bow from YSL: Snob or Slob?

By Bag Snob Tina on February 9, 2009 8:54 AM

I was on the fence about The Y Bow from YSL when I first received images from YSL PR but the more I look at it (and saw in person) the more I am digging the perfectly tailored and pleated bows! Generally bows on a bag are girly and frou frou but from YSL- it manages to be chic and sexy. Plus it adds sassy personality to a basic (boring) doctor style satchel. However, the downside is its huge size-- 17" wide will make this a piece of luggage for me but still on a tall Bag Snob it will be fabulous. I also like how the Y logo is cleverly incorporated into the design of the bag without being obnoxious. For me this is a Snob. What about you? Snob or Slob? $1,795 At YSL boutiques and at Saks.com

I saw a Belle de Jour clutch in a sort of irridescent blue-grey at NM (I was out of town.)
I loved the color but haven't seen it anywhere else. Then I saw this and think it could be the same:

Has anyone seen lilac IRL?

Everyone, remember that YSL is due to launch its "Manifesto" for spring on Saturday, Feb. 14. These are videos/ad promotions they do for the new line each season. There's a countdown clock on YSL.com, and a little sneak peak with Claudia Schiffer.

http://www.ysl.com/us/en/index.aspx

Once the Manifesto is out, there should be lots of new merchandise available!
