Congrats! Great choice. YSL black patent is so iconic.

Aww, I love Choo too; have several. But you just can't go wrong with a black patent Muse!

Thanks Alouette. I have wanted a muse for a long time now. Bought a medium ivory one from BF and returned it. I have been stalking BF for the large black and found the large patent. Let's see how it looks in person.

^Is it the regular textured patent, or the croco embossed patent?

Regular textured patent. I ordered the croco and sent back, was too plasticky for me.

^Good move. I'm not crazy about the croco-embossed either. The regular textured patent is divine, though!

Congrats! The croc patent is a smooth-coated lambskin rather than the textured-coated calf used on the regular patent which is why they're so different. I personally think the croc embossed looks and feels more luxurious than the regular patent, but I also think the plain patent works better on the Muse and it will make the bag really durable, too.
