word on the street is that NM presale starts tomorrow

hello, hopefully i'm posting this in the right place - got a card today in the mail that said YSL is having its store and online sale beginning on friday, november 21, 2008. i have no idea what percent items will be marked down, but i remember items in the spring sale were marked down 40%. if anyone's looking for a great SA, i've had great experiences with maryann at the chicago YSL. hope this helps!

online sale is at www.ysl.com and stores are located in nyc, beverly hills, costa mesa, san francisco, las vegas, houston, honolulu, bal harbour and chicago.

^^I think a lot of them. The one in AZ has some but only in the metallics (volcanic). I would call around or go through your NM SA and see if they can look in their locator system.

YSL is having a sale 30- 40% off...including stuff that never goes on sale. A special event on the Easy bag as well, over $200 off. Call Andrew for details he has a list of stuff. His number is 310 271 5131

I just spoke with someone there named Fernando who was very nice and he did say the sale starts Friday but no OS Muse bags will be on sale :(

I think Andrew may be the manager in any case he is really informed and had the list on him when I spoke to him, I just wasn't interested in anything.

edit: i called and she said the tribute sandel (is that spelled right??) will not be going on sale

I called the YSL boutiques today and found out that the only Rive Gauches on sale are the gray goatskin and the brown goatskin/ostrich combination. Approx. 35% off. No black RG's (goatskin or patent) on sale.

Also asked about any leopard bags on sale --> only leopard style marked down is Marjorelle. I didn't inquire about any other styles or shoes.

As the sale progresses (towards end of December), the markdown will hit 60%. I think I'll wait it out.
