And, as for sales bags, I'm not sure. There are just too many deals right now, and I feel sort of overwhelmed by them all. I'm trying to figure out if I love the bags I have my eyes on, or am I just in love with them because it's SALES season. I don't want to make any more decisions because I've got "Sales-goggles" on.

I have my eye on a couple of Marc Jacobs bags right now, but we'll see. As far as YSL, I think I'm going to wait until spring, because I'm not actually DYING for anything as of yet.

Besides a black Besace, I'm suddenly obsessing about picking up a praline croco nubuck Muse Two in the sales. But I think I want the Medium size not the Large. (I've already got an Oversize Chocolate Muse, after all...) Was that a Medium that you saw on the sale table at NM last week?

^It was definitely the large croco. Soooo gorgeous. I actually picked it up and started posing in the mirror with it.

They also had the almond one that Naomi Watts has, on the sale table.

I was in NM earlier this week, and the only YSL I specifically noticed that was gone from chinsumo's sale pictures was the silver Majorelle (which was a beauty). Cosmo, if you want to try on the different Muse Two sizes, they should still have mediums at the Saks Jandel. That's where I tried them on before making my final decision. If you know for sure that you want a medium, then I'm sure someone will be able to find one for you once the YSL sales start.

Thanks, everyone for trying to help me identify the color of this rive gauche! I did attempt to purchase it, but Nordstrom is sold out. I do have an SA looking out for me, just in case one is returned. If anyone here purchased one, please post pictures!

A little off-topic, but I just wanted to say that the Stella was my first designer bag too! Mine was the "wine" color from Fall 2003. I still have it, but don't wear it any longer.

I am trying to be good and wait to see what the possible further markdowns occur. I'm going to NYC for my birthday in a few weeks, on "Black Friday" this year, so I'm hoping to score something lovely.

Anyway, I think that the sales have just begun. The YSL boutique sale hasn't even really started yet.... Last year, a few days before Christmas, I snagged my Plum Tribute at the YSL boutique on 57th in New York for 60 percent off--only $479! I'll be in NYC in December again and I'm hoping for a great score this time too.

Good luck to you when you hit the stores in NYC! I'm just hoping that there will be more markdowns, not that the current markdowns aren't decent. I'm still hoping to score the "greyish" Muse. Does anyone know if it came out in the OS size? I recall only seeing it in the large.

It does actually come in the OS, it was on backorder on Saks until Jan. but it is no longer showing it available, just call one the stores and tell them you are looking for the OS muse in Road Grey, good luck
