Stop! You are killing me!

I agree Chinsumo, the price drops are going to be crazy early this year. I am watching a Dior red suit that is nearly $5k. I got the skirt at 40% from Neiman, but am waiting on the jacket, which is $4k until 60% off. If I don't end up getting it, I always need a red skirt, so no biggie. (I figure the skirt will be gone by end of season in my size.) But I cannot justify a $5k suit at $5k! At $2k, yes since it is their signature suit this year.

Totally Melissa. The sales are going to be insane. No one is buying. I was talking to my SA at Saks and he said all of his customers are asking when new items will be coming and, and he has to tell them the same thing every time, "We have to sell what we have first, that's why the first markdown is so high." So, expect some bigger price cuts!

Also, that suit sounds fabulous! And, you are definitely wise to wait!

Cosmo, I'm sure you'll be able to find the black one at a good price in the next two months!

I just ordered a black patent croc embossed oversized muse from my sa at Nordies for $949, do you all think I should have waited for a better deal? My heart was really set on the road grey oversized muse but that one wasn't on sale, I guess if I am not crazy in love with the bag I send it back

Hi ladies, I've never tracked YSL boutique sale patterns before.....and was wondering what the chances are of the RIVE GAUCHE in BLACK LEATHER getting marked down this sales season? I heard the boutiques don't usually put their classic black bags on sale, but the RG has been around for 2 years by now (and I've lusted after that bag for years!!) and in this crummy economy, who knows?.....or so I'm hoping. But what are the chances realistically? TIA!

^ I would check NM and Nordstrom. They may have some left in back stock and I bet they put it on sale. Or They may still have the Angelitos event at SCP and that would give you 20%.
