Whew, whatta morning. Good luck to everybody in the YSL.com sale--and at the boutiques too.

But I have my own little announcement: I'M FINALLY GETTING MY BLACK BESACE!

As expected, YSL did NOT include that bag in its sale. But earlier this morning, the black Besace went back on sale at Saks.com, and I ordered one. Saved about $570 off the regular price, which I think is about as good as I can do on a classic black (non seasonal) color Besace. And I went for Saturday shipping so I should have it tomorrow!!!!

I actually tried that but no luck still. It still shows up as original price. They just added the discount on the bags, so perhaps they're moving kinda slow? If I wait a little longer, maybe they'll fix that glitch.

oh btw, I just love your new bag.. congrats! Great price too!

This is my ultimate dream bag. Ok, I fell in love w/ it after seeing a pic of Miroslava Duma carrying it. I know it costs about $2,000, but I was wondering if you lovely tpfers would know whether it's on sale anywhere?? PLEAAASE! I just can't stop thinking about it and it's driving me crazy. Sorry I sound pyscho, haha, but you guys know how it is right? Any help would be sooooo great

Since I haven't been able to find it on sale anywhere, my second choice is the blue combo one, but I just one to give it one more chance looking for my dream one.

BabyK, that bag was on NM/BG for most of the year. A tPFer recently snagged one on sale. See this post: Celebs & YSL bags post #1325 ... You could try calling NM/BGs to see if any of the stores have one left.

I agree, I would try calling NM, Saks and YSL. This was a S/S 08 color, not F/W 08 which is why it's a little harder to find now, but I'll bet there are some still tucked away in stores somewhere and at this point it should be marked down if you find one.

Congrats on your Besace, Cosmo, I'm glad you were able to get a discount on it! That bag will definitely be around next season, so you did well to get as much off of it as you did. I can understand the frenzy surrounding the sales, but your Besace would have been worth buying even at full price since it's something you've truly been wanting for quite a while. The discount is just a nice bonus!

Omg, thanks so much for directing me to that post. I sent her a pm to see if I can get the SA name and number so I can contact him to see if any more are in stock. I know she got it a couple weeks ago, but it's worth a shot. *CROSSING FINGERS*. Thanks again Cosmo! You're a big help! I just wished I've seen this bag earlier. I've only discovered it a few days ago. I just hope there is at least one more left somewhere out there.

BabyK - try Nordstrom Denver - they still have a lot of YSL on sale 40% off
if it wasn't there, I may have seen it at NM Denver for 30% + 15% off. I can't remember which place

they (Nordstrom) still have a praline (brown)

mock croc besace (that color is not on sale at YSL.com) and gray besace
also a brown degrade rive gauche

You're right, I think I got a good discount and I almost pulled the trigger a couple of times at full price. I'm traveling for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I've been hoping/planning to have the Besace to take with me. Yay!

I'd still love to pick up a medium praline Muse Two later on, after my credit card cools off.... Let me know if YOU have any YSL news to report.

Thanks for the info!! I just called them and unfortunately they don't have the multicolor one in stock. They do have the new resort one, which is the multicolor embossed croc (I think) at full price. They do have my 2nd choice, the blue one for 40% off in stock. Still looking....
