I bought an Oversized Ivory Muse in the Spring and I love it. The ivory has held up really well (no color transfer from my jeans or anything) and it fits so much but still has enough room in the handles to put it on my shoulder. It's easy to make the bag really heavy, but other than that I'd say go for it. Especially at that price point for such a quality bag.

oh yes ! I am glad someone has that great bag...you know, after buying Rive Gauche in ivory ad Muse in black, I can not afford to get my ultimate dream Muse in ivory, but that would be too spoiled (and I have large ivory Miu Miu kind like similar type large bag) and I am always happy that someone gets it and is happy with it...waiting for mod pics

^ Minda: Congrats!! I would get an ivory one too if I didn't have a navy and IMO the Muse is a classic bag. The Muse 2 is definitely 'IN" now but for me the Muse I know I will be able to use in 4 years time. You've definitely invested in a timeless piece.

Juneping: I was also slightly surprised at the stiffness of the YSL leather at first- after all the Bal smooshy leathers, but I think the Muse needs a stiff leather to hold to its overall structure and shape?

I am too shy to post a modeling pic! Anyways, this purse must have been well used as the bag is really broken in and seems to have lost its shape.

To muse owners - is this how your muse looks like after some time?

One more question - where can I find the serial number for this bag? I couldn't find any tag in the bag or pocket seams, so I looked at the authenticity card and it says 2006 1 156464 C6D0G. Could someone authenticate and let me know what color my bag is? The reseller said it is white, but it looks like ivory to me. TIA!

^^i think it's at the zipper, where you see the YSL logo in leather, you can flip the tag and the serial number is behind it.

i think i will get one when the summer comes along....i bought the muse II in pony hair black one. i don't really care it'll still be "IN" or not...i just really like the design, the way they put 3 or 4 diff leather together. bf said it looks too flashy..well..but i just love it. still waiting for delivery (bought it last friday)...so excited.

june is right, flip the tag on the inner pocket and there will be serial number

Muse is not white, it has to be ivory, off-white, and yes, broken in is softer, still has the shape ut no too rigid, I personally love that

post some pics of the bag if not modeling, especially to authentication thread

beautiful! i am planning to buy the exact same one soon! just want to know how many types of leather the ivory muse comes in? is it just the buffalo leather?

i noticed in your picture, it looks smooth and untextured. but the only ivory muse i've seen so far has the buffalo leather which is too textured for me.

any idea if it comes in a different type of leather? i like the one of the most common & classic black large muse. what type is that?
