If you got it at that price then I'd keep it. That is a steal!!!!

I think its a little to big. But then again the Buffalo leather tends to just sag and,have no structure and can give the illusion of being oversized. Personally the medium is a,better fit overall and,the leather is,great. But for $1300 u can complain cause you can rock that bag, look great and know you got,a great deal.

Great color.

Love the color and style but I would prefer the medium.

I found it at TJ Maxx surprisingly! There are usually have a bunch of outdated Fendi bags but when I found this gem I freaked out with excitement and bought it.

I am still struggling on whether to keep it or not! I am so in love with it but like I said before don't own any bags this large so need to think if I can adjust to the size or not .... being an indecisive person is definitely not helping, I change my mind every hour!!

Oh boy! I cannot tell you what to do except if I were in your shoes, I'd KEEP her! Hey, there is a reason why you squealed with delight when you found her at TJ Maxx she is not massively huge and I think the YSL chyc looks divine when it is under-stuffed...she hangs so well.

Having said this, I want both a med & a large YSL chyc tote in my life time. Our local Holts is getting stock but just trickling in. Now they have 2 black Chyc totes: large & med. Sadly though, the med already has some damage or wear/tear on the top handle - you know where the sealant goes? It's cracking like dry skin...the large YSL Chyc has none of this. Less than 4 days ago, I could have paid $2095 CAD for the large YSL Chyc but now, the price has been adjusted and it's $2255 CAD, rats!

After much debate I decided it was best to return the bag because
a. I have only used my lv speedy a handful of times because I am not a handheld fan and the chyc looks much better handheld than shoved up on the shoulder
b. I was insecure about the size for an everyday bag that I would use for more than a year and if I am spending that much I might as well get something I LOVE

That being said I just saw the thread about the medium coming with the strap!! That could solve my problem with the handheld and the size!!! I'm going to call and inquire about navy because I am in love with the color.

But thank you so much for helping me out I really appreciate it! Definitely bittersweet taking that baby back to the store

I love this bag!! I mean it's good that you've returned it because you're not 100% comfortable with the size but thanks a lot for the pictures, now I'm sure I'll need the large size (I'm 5`5 ,petite but love big bags) :)

I ordered both large Chyc and large BDJ Clutch in black (clutch in patent leather). They have amazing other colors which I really love but these two beauties are my first YSL bags so I wanted them to go with everything. I think they'll arrive on Saturday, so excited!!

Good for you! I have the Large Cabas Chyc in Black...love it! I wear it for work...holds so much but not overwhelming for me, and it fits my needs perfectly. Compliments galore!!

Chyc cabas is a beautiul bag and imo the medium looks more porportional especially when it is hand carried.
