Default little "chain bag" coming in PURPLE for fall

Remember that "chain bag" for evening that I posted a while back in red? Well, the July issue of Bazaar features one in purple. Apparently, purple is very big for fall! The bag measures 5”H x 6”W x 2”D. I think I prefer the red, which is sold out here. But who knows, the purple is cute too...

Here are some pics of the other colors...

Cute... it looks too small for me though. It looks like the perfect bag to run errands with.

^I know you've been looking for a little errand bag for a while. Have you ever considered getting a Catwalk?

If this chain bag were being purchased as an evening bag, I would stick with the black or red since they're classic. Also, I like it better with the embossed croc print and think it looks nicer with the smooth lambskin patent than the textured calf patent.

The purple could be cute, though, if you just want it as a little bag with which to run errands during the day. It gives it less of an evening bag look, so in that sense it opens up other uses for the bag.

I did consider, but the moc croc was too delicate and I did not find it in the regular leather.

I am still considering the Jimmy Choo Marin or Mave clutches. I am just waiting for the 50% off to start.

And other ideas? I do love that red Saba at Neimans online

^Well, there's always a Chanel classic flap too! They are a great size for doing errands; can be dressed up or down. The caviar leather wears like iron.

p.s.--I'm looking to add some more Choos at 50% off too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a good idea, didn't even think of Chanel. Hmm maybe their new Fall stuff will have some more options. I hope that Choo 50% starts soon...I don't know how long I can wait.

I love that purple patent, but it's gonna be too small for me. Thanks for sharing Cosmo!

I still can't believe a bag that small is $900.
