I didn't even know it came in a large size. I bought a purple patent one from Overstock.com but then returned it because I just couldn't get used to patent. Although looking back I do miss the bag because one could clearly tell it was leather underneath the patent and not canvas material. Secondly, the purple color looked striking next to almost anything in my wardrobe. Unfortunately, I don't own a single patent leather bag and the price point steered me toward the Rive Gauche.

As far as I know, the Marjorelle has been discontinued. You might have luck trying the YSL outlets.

Do you mean large? Coz if mine is large its enormous!!!

Sellers us the term large and medium interchangeably, even though they are actually referring to the same size. Make sure you check the measurements. Sometimes they say medium (15" x 11"), but give large measurements (17" x 11"), and sometimes they call it a large. I don't think a 17" x 11" even exists. Mine is a large and is 15" x 11". The mini/small is 12" x 9", but on the YSL website they call it a medium!

I'll measure mine and get back to you tomorrow. It could well be 17" X 11".

Weren't they also called oversized or something sometimes? Can't remember now.

There were definitely 3 sizes though coz I remember wishing I'd scaled-down.

OK I'm just posting this one I found it's not exactly the purple although they are calling it purple (I think it's magenta but maybe others call it purple) but if someone else checks this thread coz they want one here it is.

^^^That Majorelle is the Magenta(kind of a berry color)....I have the purple which was called Lilac. I bought it from BlueFly fall of 2008. It is @15x11 and is quite roomy. HTH!

This is the Med - but still a large bag at 14" across - mine is 17" and almost too big.

Quite tempted by this one myself - I just love them

Thanks...I really can't afford this right now but if you are really interested, there a magenta one for $100 cheaper on yoogi's closet...make certain you get it authenticated first...good luck!
