helloooo all,
I have been stalking this subforum religiously, waiting to get the right besace, for the right price and finally... I have found one!!! I was initially set on the Sky anthracite which I was unable to get during the crazy sales, and did not want to pay $1995 for it from the YSL boutiques! So, instead I bought myself the Turquoise croc embossed besace and I LOVE IT! I am upset that I didn't just get it earlier! I saw both the Sky anthracite and Turquoise in person and I thought that the turquoise was actually far more stunning!!!!

congrats!!!! I know you've been holding off for ages before taking the plunge... but at least you know that at the end of the day you're sure that you're happy with your choice. Would be a pity to have got it earlier then ended up wishing you'd held out for the sky anthracite.

your turquoise looks just lovely! I'm sure you're just going to love it more and more.

I LOVE the turquoise! You are going to love it too!

I have just started using my praline besace regularly, it's a fantastic bag and I like the vibe it gives off (I can't believe I just said that, I've been on the forum too long!!

gladrags&bags - which bag did you end up getting? Do post pics when you get it. If you did choose the Turquoise, then aerye, you and I can be bag triplets!

aerye - I am so glad that I had a chance to see both of them in person when I went to NYC for a short trip. It kind of helped in making the decision. I am really glad I got the Turquoise, this colour pops against any outfit!

Congrats! I had a similar dilemma. I was holding out for the navy besace since December and I feel like it's NEVER going on sale so I succumbed and got the turquoise besase too! The price was just too good to pass up! Oh, and we're double bag twins...I have the miu miu bow in mughetto too!

mellibelly - i think you made a great decision. it seems like the leather besace's have a problem with the leather on the straps peeling off, thankfully with the suede we won't have that problem (fingers crossed), but then again, if it rains, RUN baby RUN!
p.s. that miu miu is a classic! I always have people PM'ing me about where I got mine!

I love when long search ends with what you REALLY love. This is such a joy - I am so happy you got this one - teal color in croc is so stunning !!!

The most important thing is to see it in person, then you know what to search for like you did. I ended up selling quite a few - looked stunning in the add and IRL not so, but also, I had some that I bought in dillema, but once it arrives, WOW
