Unhappy HELP! what to use to clean/remove the stain from my YSL pewter Muse
Hi ladies! Would like to ask for your help regarding my newly acquired YSL pewter muse. As much as I love this bag, the seller forgot to mention in original listing detailed condition of the bag, including the stains though I think this bag looks better in person, I notice that all 4 corners have darkened & there's a whitish stain at the bottom & about 2 or 3 small blackish marks on random parts of the bag. On her pics on the listing page, the photo showing the bottom part doesn't have the white stain I immediately notice when I inspected the bag. Is there any way I can remove these stains esp. the white one? I would deeply appreciate any suggestion/s on what product/s to use to get these stains out & clean the corners. I also read in one of the post here that since Metallic bags such as this are made of different material (well, atleast the top layer), it can be hard to clean them as the part where it's cleaned might get rubbed off (hope I make sense)

Here are some pics of the flaws:

THE WHITE STAIN AT THE BOTTOM:

DARKENED CORNERS:

NOT TOO NOTICEABLE HERE, BUT HERE'S A CLOSEUP PIC OF 1 OF THE DARKENED CORNER:

SMALL BLACK MARK LIKE THIS ONE:

I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP ON THESE LADIES! THANKS! THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!

Yeah the corners are definitely scuff marks which will happen with almost every bag even with a little bit of carrying time. It's from rubbing up against your clothes, walls, setting it down, walking through doorways, etc.....
As for the white mark, I'm not too sure about how to get rid of it since it looks like the color may have been bleached out in some way? Luckily it is on the bottom and not somewhere that is painfully noticeable.

Thank you hansyu & Mia Bella! I guess I can live w/ the corner scuffings but sure wish I can still clean off the white stain. The white spot doesn't looked bleached in person but looks like a white stain over the material. Oh! I just checked my bag, the black marks look like pen marks & what looks like the white spot in pic isn't really white but more like a lighter gray

Sounds like something I encountered too, I recently bought a road grey riz de grain off ebay and the seller did not mention scuffed corners, we ended up talking about it and she sent me a partial refund of $50 back. I think it's worthwhile to talk with your seller, mine was really responsive and great

As for the stain, I would suggest contacting Lovinmybags (website), I haven't used them but I've read good reviews of them on the forum. Hope this helps!

Thanks babybel! I sure hope my seller will be just as considerate as yours was. Oh well, might as well try right? Heard about Lovinmybags & I've been wanting to orders their products but the problem is, shippping alone would cost me tons of dollars, not to mention I might need to pay tax once they ship it back to me that's why sending them the bag for it to get "fixed" is really not a very practical option for me. I might ask a friend to just order their products for me though, that is, if she even agrees. Thanks again! =)

I know I am late to the game on this but I have a bronze metallic muse and the rubbing off of the metallic (like the bottom) corner just happens with wear. Either rotate bags and use it less often or embrace it as character and use it as often as you like.
