Default Help is needed....

I have a YSL in the Taupe color.

I am sure not what has happened but the leather at the front is very dry (vein shown) with a layer of white while the one on the back is normal and smooth....

Has this ever happened to any one of your bags? What should I do? I applied Apple Guard leather condition to it but it did not help!!

Many thanks in advance!!

I have another leather purse that showed similar condition, not a YSL though. I used a oil conditioner by Cole Haan, and it was ok.
