Hi! I'm very new on tPf. I hope you can help me on this. I already have my Damier Speedy 30, authentic! of course. But could you help me on my next purchase. Which one is the best among the two? I need a bag that i could invest on, something i can use, not everyday, but i can use every season. Please help!

I can only speak for myself here, of course, but I expect that many of as would be a bit biased toward YSL.

I have returned my Balenciaga Whistle in favor of the Muse last month.

I would say I Muse... I have some BBags but I rarely wear them. They are too smooshy and can't be dressed up.

I say: Sell your LV and get the balenciaga city AND a XL Muse! The black city is the classic balenciaga. I also thing the XL Muse is a classic bag too!

funny.. I have been asking myself the same question too! I am obsessing abt the perfect black city but when I saw the muse IRL, now Im having second thoughts abt getting another city instead Ill get a muse. sorry Im not much of a help..

balenciaga city! sorry YSL.

my sister bought her oversized white muse at about the same time that i purchased my plomb balenciaga city. We wore them together on the same day and my parents both told my sis she should have gone with the city because they thought it was cuter and more versitile because of the shoulder strap. it has "character" and looks better each time u wear it in.

But then also taking into consideration what pikeeygrl said, the muse can be dressed up whereas the balenciaga makes it a little difficult.

for dressy occasions: muse
for everyday with jeans and casual: city

well if its not an everyday bag I would say the muse, but for everyday and casual I would say the city, whichever you choose I am sure you will love it!

Oh no, I can't. I just love my Damier so much! That's sounds a great idea and I have some plans on getting both also. My mom could get me one and I'll get the other one. Sounds great? Hahaha!

They're both 'classics' in their own right. They will always be around, you can always get the one you want the most now, and then wait to get the other.

They are both classics have been around awhile. If you need a suit/corporate look for work then the Muse would work better. If you are always in jeans and casual then I would go for the City.
