Has anyone seen this beauty in real life? I wonder how does the glazed treatment look like. Somehow, I have a feeling the picture here doesnt represent the real thing well.

It looks a little shiny... I saw them live at Neiman's in Beverly Hills

I have been dying to get home and tell you!!! I got 2 downtowns today, I couldn't decide and decided to do both bc they are for such different things. At the outlets, I got a khaki canvas large with brown leather handles and tab and y fob. ($519). And a medium leather ivory, maybe it is deerskin, is don't know, was ($749) I went with the medium bc for the work week i carry less than the weekend when i will use the canvas so as not to destroy the ivory. Weekend have to hold a book, a mag, about 30 star wars toys, a blackberry, a phone and a sweater, and a kids jacket if they get too hot!! LOL!

I figured both cost less than I would have paid for the ivory at BG and they still have them there, so...so excited:)

By the way, so as not to be completely selfish: They had several rafia bags, medium was 479, large was 579, (both brown and ivory tabs and handles) they had ivory tall, brown med and tall and camel med and tall (749 and 899). They also had the yummiest oversized chocolate suede muse for 1049 and a haircalf one, don't know it's price. This is woodbury commons in Harriman NY. Not many muses today.

re: the glazed rive guache>>>I don't love the glazed look, but if you like patent, or would like it if it just didn't look like plastic, you will like these. they are shiny, but have more depth than patent.

Melissa Ann do you know if they will ship items from the outlet? Also do you recall if they had any furry leopard downtowns?

No, no furry leopard downtown...the haircalf muse might have been an animal print.

I don't know if they will ship. Here is the # Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche (845) 928-2169. Can't hurt to ask!

I called and they will ship for $10.

Both of the bags you got sound so cute! If you ever have a chance I would love to see a picture of the Khaki canvas.

Thanks for the information!

I got the last canvas...it looks like the canvas ones on BlueFly, except brown trim, and no pocket on the front.

The rafia was WAY cute, and the medium was only 479! There is a picture of it under the thread, going on a carribian week by gingerita. same bag. so cute. I couldnt decide btwn that and the canvas.

the ivory dntn you can see on BlueFly. the brown was a darker brown, not mocha, and the camel was more camel than whiskey.

My fave was the brown suede muse...but I can never buy bags off season. I just can't deal with that. And that pony hair one was cool too. both oversize.
