Free YSL tote bags in NY?

Hey ladies
I'm usually in the CL forum, but I thought I would ask you YSL experts if you know anything about this. On 9/6 in NYC, YSL people will be giving out free tote bags. But I don't know exactly where!! Anyone have any more details on this?? Below is a link to the WWD article with more info. TIA!!

I have not heard anything....perhaps you could call the YSL boutique or WWD to see if they have any additional info. Sounds like fun though!

according instyle, the bags will be distributed at a variety of places from soho to times square...
i imagine since fashion week starts the day before, they'll probably be handing them out at or near bryant park...

YSL will be distributing YSL tote bag and newsletter for free at noon on 6 Sep 08 worldwide. The same event will happen in Hong Kong at the same time.

Hello ^__^. Just letting you know that I snagged one at around 11:00 in Times Square right outside Planet Hollywood.

Apparently they're doing several rounds of this? I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

Evidently, Stefano Pilati is PISSED that that people are paying more attention to the bags than the catalog that comes inside it. However, he's also said that becuase of the hype surrounding this bag it'll be made available (for a price, I'm sure) at all YSL stores.
