Default couple of YSL souvenirs from my trip to France
Hi everyone! Long time no see. My husband and I just returned from a two-week trip to France. We flew into Paris and spent just a day and a half there before boarding a riverboat cruise that took us across the country all through Burgundy and Provence. Each day we disembarked in a different place for sightseeing, winetasting, great food, and of course a little shopping. We ended up in the south of France, in Nice on the French Riviera, and spent one night in Monte Carlo before coming home.

Needless to say, though my time in Paris was brief I managed to sneak out to the YSL boutique and buy a couple of goodies. Here are my new Y-Mail zip around wallet and my Belle de Jour keycase, both in black patent. I actually needed a new wallet for some time and was waiting to buy one in France!

Thank you ssc and chinsumo!

I didn't want to make a major YSL purchase, like a bag, because the dollar-euro conversion rate is not favorable right now and its cheaper to buy here in the U.S.

My other fashion-related purchases included two Christian Lacroix scarfs (one from his flagship boutique in his hometown of Arles and one from Nimes) and a Hermes scarf (from Nice). I posted a pic of that here: my first Hermes purchase; just a little something from my trip to France Plus we brought back French wine (of course) and some other small items for the house.

It was a great trip but its good to be home too. And I am so jetlagged. I think I just got used to France time when I came home.
