I'm not trying to be a stickler here, but I originally posted this July 2 didn't get a reply, then posted it again July 6 with no reply as of yet and today is July 13th. I realize this is a courtesy of TPF and certainly appreciate it, it has saved me money in the past, (or not depending on how you interpet that ). I also realize that other more knowledgeable TPFers take the time to do it for us and for free when there are websites that do the same thing for a charge. Having said there could be all kinds of reasons why my post is not being answered; maybe other TPFers also authenticate other brands on this forum and are busy, maybe they're busy with their lives (I understand that one), or maybe they're not familiar with that paticular model. Whatever the case may be I feel like my post keeps getting overlooked whether accidently or purposely. I think it's the not knowing thats killing me, if there isn't someone who knows about that paticular model it would be nice in the future to post a quick note stating that so I don't keep reposting and wondering if anyone saw it. Of course there's another possibility here too...I might be acting a bit impatient.

If you've noticed, our resident authenticator hasn't been around as regularly as we'd have like. But she does come on every now and then. I don't blame her. She's not obligated to do what she does here. She could be busy, or has moved on with her life.

Unfortunately for us, there's really nobody else who has stepped up to fill that role. So I don't think your post has been overlooked, just that there's no one else who could do it.

Sure of course you're right and I absolutely understand all of that, I'm not faulting or shaking a finger at anyone here I'm only raising a little flag to be seen. And as all those things could be true I did also notice that all the posts after my original one have been answered, with the exception of the last few on this page. Again, I just want to bring a little attention to it is all.

What I've been resorting to is looking on the reference page for pictures of the authentic bags and then comparing to the pictures up for sale. If you pay close attention enough, there are many glaring differences with the fake bags, like spacing of rivets, stitching, etc. It's a little more difficult to do with the item you're asking about as it isn't as common, so I would search the seller's name on tPF along with the item number as well. Other than that, there's really not much you can do!

I didn't think you were faulting anyone. So just would like to point out that looking at the situation around here, it's more likely that no one knows than it's being overlooked.

And I would rather people who weren't sure to not say anything, if you know what I mean. So if someone whom you don't see much around here were to make a comment to say it's real, I would take their comment with a huge pinch of salt.
