Can I ask one more thing.. does the chocolate Muse come with 3 keys or 1 old type key. Also should there be YSL logos on all keys that come with the Muse?

Thanks!
My large choc. Muse from the YSL boutique, purchased this fall has one key with the YSL logo on both sides. We have discussed this before and some people said that their authentic Muse came with three keys. I believe the consensus was that it originally came with three but now comes with one.

The link takes me to a page that is not in English. I only read English.... Does eBay have a function that translates?

I have 2 from 2006, 1st season. One came with 3 keys (black) and 1 came with 1 key (anthracite). Both are medium. There are 2 different lock openings--the one for an old fashioned style key, which is 1 key and the one for a regular key, which is 3 keys. (I hope this doesn't sound as confusing to everyone else as it sounds to me.) Oh--and the single old-fashioned type key has the logo on both sides. The luggage style 3-key sets don't.

Default Please Help 2nd generation muse bags

Does anyone have the newer black oversized muse bags, in the 2nd generation. Supposedly, they made the muse bag but it's significantly different.

1. How many keys are in a muse bag? 1, 2, or 3?
2. Supposedly the second generation muse bags no longer have the serial number, is this true?
3. So what are they supposed to come with, just the authenticity and the small documentation with numbers?
4. Does the muse come with a lampo on the zipper?

Please, if you are an expert and you have a genuine authentic ysl or really honestly truly know about these, help..

Thanks!

As far as I know, EVERY Ysl bag comes with a serial number. Of course, I haven't personally inspected every one, but as far as I know, this has not changed. For a post about keys, see above. The outer zipper is Lampo. I can't get a good look at the inner zipper. They come with an authenticiy card, a small care brochure, the controle card (with numbers 1 thru 9 plus 0) and the rectangular card with the year and season, the serial number and two additional code of numbers and letters on that top line (leather batch codes perhaps? I'm not sure), which will also have the model in words, underneath, e.g., YSL SAC MUSE and will indicate the type of leather etc. There is also a white sleeve saying Yves Saint Laurent. I don't remember which cards were originally in the sleeve, as I put everything in the sleeve for storage.

Thanks susan eric.

What are your opinions on this one? eBay: YSL Yves Saint Laurent OverSized Muse Bag Black Genuine (item 130048859842 end time Nov-23-06 16:39:53 PST)

I noticed that they have:
1. 2 keys; not 3 keys;
2. the serial number is not embossed under the leather tag

Those are the two significant differences.

Do you mean that all the muse black oversize bags will have the same serial number?. I have seen two different bags (both muse, oversize, black) with the same sets of numbers. Does it mean that both are fake?

Someone asked about this bag last week and the listing shows the auction is over. Maybe the sale didn't go through. Anyway, here were my thoughts last time. Here is a link to the first time it was listed:
eBay: YSL Yves Saint Laurent MUSE Chocolate Brown (item 320047477238 end time Nov-14-06 09:07:38 PST)

Some thoughts . . .

This listing is for $1099 BIN and Saks has it for $1295. So for $200 more you can have a brand new one guaranteed to be real.
Yves Saint Laurent - Muse Oversized Bag - Saks.com

The seller doesn't have a lot of feedback.

I have that bag in the large size and mine doesn't have all those wrinkles at the top. I don't know if that sort of wrinkling is typical of the oversize only.

The description said she "sourced it" for a client ... She doesn't mention from where. I would want to know.

The bag is in Ireland. It might be harder to communicate and follow up if there is a problem, if you are not in Ireland.

Hi Girls !

I live in France and here are the pics of a Vincennes I am tracking on e-bay

The images are not very clear so I've asked the girl to send new ones.
However, can you give me some hints ? I've asked for the serial numbers and the handle, is there something else I should pay attention to ?

Thanks !

I mean only that the 6 numbers that represent the serial number (also found on the white card) will be the same. I don't know if the other 6 numbers will be the same on ALL bags of the same style and size, but they will be the same on at least some. It's not a sign that they are fake. I'm just not sure if ALL bags from a season in that style and size have the same set of 6 numbers (in additional to the same serial number), but at least some of them do.

Vintagelux--I honestly don't know. But, I've never seen one with 2 keys, just one or three (in that key, sort of a luggage key--three). I've also never seen an authentic one without a serial number.
