hhmmm, TBH I'm not sure if you're going to find anything cheaper in the bubbled leather. The colored nubuck Besaces will be cheaper than 1300 but I'm doubtful if you'll ever see a classic color for less than 1k.

^ I bought my black bubble besace at NM last season for about $700 after tax. It's rare, but could be done. I think another tpfer also got one at the same price. However IMO somewhere in the 800-900 range is good enough for a leather one. Good luck!

Don't you love it Haley? I purchased the silver volcano Besace for a "weekend bag". I've been using it everyday. Love, love, love it!

Sure I would call stores. They often have more than you can find online!
Good luck!

I'm new to YSL and don't have any stores near me that sell YSL. But I've recently decided that I must have a besace! I'm close to buying one of the nubuck ones off the YSL site for $800, but would prefer to find it for less. Or better yet, one of the bubbled leather ones! Has anyone seen one recently??

check to forum for complaints about bubbly leather, many had problems with black bubbly, scraping of the leather in various places...nubuck has shown better quality...just a bit of caution cheers, vesna
