thanks aliao, i did ring them, but for some reason i remember the prices as being a bit higher than that? maybe the leather ones were higher ... But i will definitely ring again now. Do you know if they have the grey croc embossed at that price? thanks :)

hi hayley,

I think the leather ones are normally slightly cheaper than the stamped croc ones. But of course it's best to check with the store.

So apparently private YSL sale started today - online and boutique - I cant seem to find anything on the website ... if anybody sees a great deal on a Besace that they dont want themselves please post! Thanks :)

Hi, I dont mean to invade your tread, but since you started it already.. :-) Im looking for the besace in Navy medium.. But it has to be a really good deal since im pretty brooke. I live in europe, so international shipping is essiential...Any suggestions? :-)

I have rung so many of the outlets trying to find a good deal on a besace, and have only found turquoise croc embossed and gold for really good prices. I think YSL Madison ave had a black pebbled, but it was still round $1200.
I am going to keep persevering though, i want either the navy, black or grey croc embossed! good luck and let me know how you go. :)

Neimans Last Call had 2 yesterday (but 25% off sale ended yesterday). One was a pretty gold, can't remember the other color, but it might have been navy or a darker color. Good luck.

Hayley, call Woodbury. I was there today and could have sworn they had a grey croc embossed besace (it was kind of hidden to - it as on the top row and wasn't "standing up" so I don't think people were noticing it.

I treated myself to a teal croc embossed besace for $647 with tax which I thought wasn't too shabby - my first YSL bag!

Thanks for the tip! I will call now. I rang woodbury, and they said no, but sometimes staff arent too familiar with this style, so i'll try again. You mean the woodbury Neiman's last call yeah, and not the YSL store?

Well dont on the turquoise, i LOVE mine! :)

I thought I saw it at the YSL store- there was nothing at Neimans, but maybe I was mistaken and it was a different style - I noticed the color more than anything (and so sorry to get your hopes up if that is the case).

thanks marbella, just rang NMLC San Diego. not sure if they knew what i was talking about ... got the feeling the SA didnt ... anyway, they checked and said they didnt have any. might be good to ring again if anybody is interested and maybe you'll get a better SA ... I am limited by the time difference as am ringing from Australia.
