2nd cut sale now online!!

I have the YSL service respond to my email on the sale prices. Just thought I'd show you, because it doesn't make any sense to me.

However, I do see some sale items on the website. For example, this item: http://www.ysl.com/us/en/onlineBoutique/Women/Handbags/Shoulder-Bag/P-Large%20Tribute%20Patent%20Leather.aspx looks very much as a sale item to me (and available), except that the purchase price is not reflecting what is stated on the page. If this item is not available, then your website should indicate so.

You have some items that have been further discounted, such as patent Tribute and Downtown bags, but when you put the item in the shopping bag, the price rolls back to the old price. I went 2 steps through the checkout, and it still didn't reflect the discounted price.

I know...I too had that experience with the lower sale price not been reflected on my shopping bag so I just ended up calling one of the YSL boutiques. I purchased the patent light green Downtown @ YSL Bal Harbour- ask for Alexander...super nice...good luck...

wtf?! do they not even try using their own website?
to be fair, i did phone ysl.com and the person on the other end was very helpful and aware of the sale items on the site. unfortunately, i can't remember the phone number and can't locate it on the website anymore. :( sorry i couldn't pass it on to you.

My experience, if it helps: on Thursday I placed an order via the YSL website for the Raspail tote and light green Tribute bag, both on sale. The order seemed to go through fine, but then I got the following email this morning:

Thank you for choosing Yves Saint Laurent. We have received your order. Unfortunately we are unable to honor your order for these sale items, the red Medium Raspail tote and the light green large Tribute handbag, on ysl.com. Sale is only available in YSL boutiques. Due to a technical error, sale items appeared to be available while you were shopping on ysl.com. In order to serve you best, we have referred your order to our 57th Street boutique in New York. A sales associate from our 57th Street boutique will be contacting you today to complete your purchase at the sale price and will be happy to ship the item to you.

Then later this morning the SA from the 57th St shop rang me to complete my order. She was wonderful and even had loads more colors in the large Tribute on sale than were listed online. So I got my Raspail in red croc & Tribute in bordeaux and am now awaiting delivery!

Ultimately I don't think you can order sale items online, so it seems best to just ring your nearest boutique. Good luck!

I think it depends on the color/leather. If I remember correctly, the SA said she had black or chocolate buffalo leather for $579, red patent or bordeaux leather for $479 and beige patent embossed for $799.

oooh~! so happy i caught the thread before leaving work. thanks for the update! went straight to the 57th street location and saw a couple of things mentioned in this thread. although some ppl say not to get the bourdeux here, i got one of the last two available. still young, so i think i can carry it off for quite a while.

they also had one light green left, and 2 light blue color; both in patent leather finish for $449. for the light blue color, there was a medium and larger size. didn't bother to see what the larger size costs though. also tributes in silver and gold; 1 and 2 left respectively.

also chain evening flap bag; 3 patent reds for i think almost $500 each.
