I love that your bags are so different to the big designer brands that so often pop up on tPF. Very nice.

I'll keep your purchases secret if you keep mine

It took my boyfriend about 4 months before he realized I bought another bag. He grabbed it while we were out last week and was like "did you get a new bag?".

At that point I could say "yeah months ago"

I'm usually into the chic posh style bags, but I love your rough collection! Perhaps you should have a look at Mulberry? I think their Roxanne will fit perfectly!

Thank you...I always gravitate toward Dior. I think you'll be able to find a nice affordable gaucho online

Hey Schmodi! are all the bags on these 3 sites guaranteed authentic do you think? or should i submit any potential purchases to the authenticate this thread? Sabines has the medium gaucho (single flap) in red...

Other than eBay, those sites are usually reputable. I always authenticate on tPF for a piece of mind though-only because there are some pretty great fakes out there. That gaucho is the suede one and I've only see a few of those around but never in person.

Sabines, Jills and Anns all guarantee authenticity and many people have had great success with each of those sites.

Great about Saks transferring one over. I personally love it in the leather because it's like butter.

thanks for the info! i'm a little nervous i will be tempted to slap down my credit card the minute i see it in person. i'm already fantaszing about owning that bag! I have to stay strong!!!

PS> do you think they might discontinue this style? or do you think the gaucho still has a few more seasons in it? if they are going to stop making these forever then i definitely would up the anty on getting one NOW

:)

I think it will be around for a while. It came out in 2006 and every season since then they've done variations. I think you'll find one less than retail if you watch online.
