Hello Everyone! I'm fairly new to tPF...but I'm so glad to have found this forum coz it's finally a place where people actually understand my "disease"

. I'm a loving mother of two young children - a 4 year old boy and a 9 month old baby girl - and DH and I just bought a new house that is due to be completed in 2010 - so I am currently on a purse ban until 2010 because we'd like to save up more to buy new furniture, etc.

Are you feeling my pain? My poor DH though has been very kind...he let me know two more bags - both of my Holy Grail bags, btw before the ban started...so I love him dearly for that...but nothing's stopping me from shopping for my next purchase in 2010, right?

So without further ado...I'd like to introduce my guilty pleasures. I'll start with the one that started it all - my mom and dad actually got this one for me in 2002 as a gift from their trip to Las Vegas...so you can say that my parents are to blame for my bag addiction

So in this case, I really CAN send them the psych bills!

Fendi Zucchino Pochette Beige/Brown

I then went on to get my first LV - a Damier Papillon 26 not long after my son was born, but found it was too small after using it for a year or so, so sold it - I hope to replace it with the Damier Papillon 30 soon.

I'll post the rest once I feed the baby and put her down for a NAP. Be back soon!

I think all of us have been on a ban at some point, but I couldn't think of a more wonderful reason to be on one....a new house!!!! Congratulations! Once your house is finished and fully furnished, how much fun will it be to make up for lost 'purse' time!

I guess my next love was Louis Vuitton (I go thru these phases...)

As mentioned before, my first ever LV was the Damier Papillon 26 - I loved it, but found it too small, so I sold it - and I don't have any pics of it anymore - but I hope to replace it with the Damier Papillon 30 once my ban is over

I did recently sell my Burberry Shopper Tote coz it just didn't fit my needs anymore (no inside pockets, no zipper, etc).

Dior Coin Wallet (I don't know it's official name, as it was gift from my sister)

I may add a Dior bag once my ban is over - I was at the Holt Renfrew Private Shopping Nite a few weeks ago and I was ooogling the Soft Lady Dior Large Hobo in Chocolate Brown...hmmm.....

Sorry about your ban, but at least it's for a great cause! Maybe your new house can have a special handbag room or at least a special section of your closet

Fendi has always been a constant love for me...as mentioned before, my parents started this whole bag addiction when they gave me my first Fendi Pochette. Here it is again, with my other Fendi Pleasures.

Zucchino Pochette Beige/Brown

This was my Mom's but she gave it to me when it didn't suit her needs anymore.

I bought this one on eBay several years ago, before I even knew tPF existed. Once I'd found tPF, I was so worried that it was a fake - but the experts here confirmed it's auth!
