Default Strema's Handbag Collection (College Style)
Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards, but definitely not to purse collecting. (: My grandma got my mom started on Coach, which eventually passed on to me. Since then, I've branched out a little. Unfortunately, I don't know much about some of the purses that were given to me as gifts. :( Hopefully some serious googling efforts will correct this problem.

Default Coach
The first bag to be discussed is the adorable, sparkly pink evening bag. It's pretty unusual for Coach. It came in a white and pink dust bag and is made out of cloth. It was an eBay find and was used just once at my high school prom (you might have already guessed that my dress was pink.) It's way too cute for me to part with, despite the fact that it generally just sits in a drawer or the closet. :(

The suede bordeaux is from the Coach outlet in San Marcos, TX in late 2006 or early 2007. Unfortunately, I don't know what season or collection it's from, but it's very roomy and makes a lovely fall bag. I might be tempted to get the matching wristlet now that they are so inexpensive on eBay! :)

Default Juicy Couture
I definitely went through a Juicy phase in high school. I had Juicy t-shirts, Juicy pants, a Juicy charm bracelet. I never really left the phase, especially after I moved to Las Vegas and discovered the Juicy Sleep store. It's a whole store of pajamas and underwear!!!

My first Juicy bag was the purple and pink Daydreamer. I bought the matching wristlet later because it just felt wrong not to have it. It was the first designer purse I bought, and I still remember the day I took it home from Nordstrom in Austin, TX! I later bought a Baby Fluffy (Dad later found the matching wallet for me--what a guy!) from a boutique in town, but the terry cloth started looking worn very quickly and I sold it. It was fun while it lasted, though.

The daydreamer is just large enough to hold my netbook, so it's currently being used as my schoolbag for college. Considering I also used it as my schoolbag in high school, it was really a great purchase!

Default Louis Vuitton
My first and only Louis Vuitton is the tiny monogram pochette that is just barely usable as a shoulder bag. It has no pockets or very interesting features, but I did find it very interesting that the date and place it was made is stamped in. My particular bag was made in California in November 1999! This one was a present from Dad, which means he bought it on eBay. :)

Default Prada
I guess at this point, I can say that my dad has had even more influence on my purse obsession than my mom. He bought these two nylon Prada bags for me. They're both tiny and cute, but I really only wear the navy blue one (left.) They're low maintenance, but not particularly interesting. Still, totally classic.

Default (Marc by) Marc Jacobs
I love this MJ ivory flap bag, but I can't find any information about it! It was another gift from Dad, and probably my favorite. The inside is lined with a turquoise-colored suede to match the stitching all around the outside of the bag.

The fuchsia Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is from the Totally Turnlock collection. I saw it at a Nordstrom in Dallas and within hours decided I had to have it. The matching wallet came along later from the Nordstrom in Austin.

Unfortunately, the color on the bag is faded in some areas, and blue in others (denim dye.) The bag has literally been through snow, sleet and rain, not to mention Texas heat and humidity. It accompanied me on trips all over Texas, New York, Boston, Chicago and Las Vegas. Although I don't wear it much anymore, I can't bear to part with it. Nobody else would appreciate this particular bag as much as me!

Default Alexander McQueen
This McQueen satchel is the newest addition to my purse family. It's another eBay find--one of those that haunts you and makes you worry that you'll never find another if you don't buy it right now. It's just so pretty! Plus, it's quite satisfying to carry a brand that my peers haven't even heard of. (: Alright, I'm a bit of a snob. Who isn't?

Great collection, it's very diverse!
If you want to extend your LV Pochette's strap, LV makes something called a Bolt Keyring which can be used as an extender for your Pochettes. I have one and couldn't imagine using a Pochette without it now!
