SMR's fun, girly bags~and why I love them <3
Hey TPFers
 Never realized how much work it is to take all these purse pics (or maybe I did, that would explain me putting it off for so long!) I am pretty much banning myself from buying any new bags for awhile since we're saving up for our wedding/honeymoon/first house (unless of course it's really, really good 'I'd regret it if I didn't buy it' deal  ) so it seems like a good time to share what I've got!I have a pretty big weakness for smooshy leathers, fun summery colors, and patchwork (reminds me of scrapbooking for some reason, which is something I love). I’m not really into logo bags, though the Coach “CC” signature speaks to me: since those are my initials, they feel like personalized monograms to me (I know they’re not really, but still  ) Through trial and error, I’ve determined that my favorite bags tend to be roomy leather shoulder strap shoppers/totes with exterior pockets, so that is what most of my collection consists of, although a few of my bags don’t exactly fit that mold… My biggest pet peeves are cheapo nylon lining and plastic zippers, but every now and then I will look past these things if the bag is “right”! I will start with some of my faves: Never liked the regular spy but I found the ‘baby’ one too cute to pass up! I love it very much, even though it is not a shoulder bag, and I’m obsessed with shoulder bags! It’s a nice change though every now and then!   L.A.M.B. – I have a real love/hate relationship with this one  … I love the shape and print, was obsessed with finding it, got it, hated carrying it since it doesn’t work well on the shoulder and is a bit awkward for a handbag, decided I hated it, sold it, missed it for months, then finally bought it again! Whew! Unfortunately, I barely use it, because it’s just kind of awkward, but I still love it, even though it’s basically just closet decoration these days!

I’ve been on a white bag kick for awhile. White leather bags are, to me, the epitome of chic!
 I think they look great with virtually ANYTHING and I just adore the way a crisp white bag looks in the summer.

Some group shots of my white bags, I love them all
 The leathers are all very different, the tano is "crunch leather" which is kinda shiny (I'm not a fan of patent so this is the closest I will go), the LP is a washed lambskin that is supersoft but kind of matte and the Bal is chevre and super soft with a nice sheen.

I love Linea Pelle leather…and the yellow is so fun! I love the versatality of this, handbag, shoulder or messenger! I may need it in another color!
 One of my favorite summer bags, a gift from my fiance before our first annual trip to FL for my birthday  the ants on this print are so realistic, people have actually been like "eeek, omg, there is a big ant on your purse!!"

My first Coach bag, at the time, I though it was HUGE! Now I barely use it because nothing fits in it! LOL
 I haven’t carried this D&B in years, but for some reason I still can’t seem to part with, it is just cute!  these bags were on mega clearance on the target website when I snatched them up, 10 bucks a pop! Couldn’t resist! I will use them sometime, for something, I’m sure!  another small bag that doesn't get out much, poor thing! still love it though!!  the 'ole bar bag:

what I used for a wallet for probably a year straight:
 A gift from my fiancé this past Christmas, it’s sooooo soft and I LOVE the color and gold hardware! It’s extra special to me because he gave me this the same day he proposed!  Love this shade of purple with the silver hardware!  Another gift from my sweetie and it’s one of my absolute favorite bags! I broke my own ‘rules’ for this one, it has nylon lining (hate!) and a plastic zipper (hate) but the bag itself is so perfect in every other way that I don’t even care!!

Now for my pink obsession!
 Haven’t carried these in forever (they seem so small now) but I love them nonetheless!  this is my favorite pink one! It’s got major sentimental value to me since I carried it on our first date with a super cute pink skirt!! He took me to the Melting Pot, which started a whole new obsession…  can’t remember where I found that bag charm (it’s not coach), but it’s pink and sparkly so of course I love it! |

   the leather on this is soo thick and amazing and there are actually tiny pockets inside to organize things with, it’s great!  one of my best purchases ever:  this is a godsend for small bags. I’ve never liked carrying wallets since they take up too much space and I end up filling them with clutter, so this satisfies the minimalist in me. There is actually a full length bill holder and a zipper pocket on the reverse side for change. I would’ve bought it in every color if I knew how much I’d end up loving it!!! I have a few coach ‘mini skinnies’ but never use them as theyre actually TOO small! I really like my yellow LP wallet though.. may need a white one now! |

Now for my other love… big sunglasses!!! I am going to post these here since there is no forum for sunnies (yet)
I’m not really too experimental as far as my shades go, I like big frames and dark lenses and basically stick to that! Group shot:  I love these for how plain and not-flashy they are. Don’t get me wrong, I love my bling, but sometimes I want something more low key and these totally fit the bill  my absolute favorite sunnies ever, ever!
