Hello,
Welcome to a selection of my eclectic purse collection. As with clothes, I can never commit to keeping a bag so the tags don’t come off until it is used. I am constantly struggling with the thought of returning or selling my bags.

Thanks for looking.
C.

Large Chloe Edith satchel that lived in my closet for a year before I finally used it. When I pulled it out to finally use it, the darned thing had a spot on it. I’m glad the stain is there because I don’t treat it like it is a “precious” bag.

Chloe Tekla. Acquired from the Chloe sample sale late last year.

Hayden Harnett Lorcas which have never been worn. I have more purses from this brand than any other designer and it isn’t even my most favorite.

Hayden Harnett Mimi. I use this one a lot for going out.

Lorcas, Mimi and a wristlet thing I got at the last sample sale. I’m not a fan of wristlets, but this one grabbed my attention because of its size and colors.

Two more HH bags: The Havana hobo and the Salina pouch. Great for running errands and I don’t care how mucky they get.

The Kate Spade collection. I only ever use the tote and only when I need to lug around my gym shoes from work. I need to sell the other bags because they haven’t seen the light of day in years. The small bag with the embroidery is a special edition that was made in honor of one of the “Batman” movies.

My vintage clutches and purses. I love these bags, especially the shiny red one.

Another vintage bag

The Gold collection. Kate Spade make up bag that I use as a clutch, Calypso flat bag and a Botkier Trigger. I bought the Trigger at the last Botkier sample, and as with most of my bags, I haven’t used it yet. The leather is a lot thinner than the leather used in most Botkier bags.

Botkier collection. I love my East-West Trigger, it is such a workhorse and still really stylish. I can’t remember the name of the soft yellow bag. Now that the weather is finally getting better, I can start using it again.

Clutches: Two Lauren Merkins, large Lulu Guinness and Whiting and Davis. I’ve had a couple of these bags for well over a year and they’ve yet to be used. Perhaps this summer.

Lauren Merkin

Goldenbleu. This bag is lined in suede. Can't wait to finally use it.

Prada/MiuMius that were birthday presents.

Hermes, which was a gift from my mother. Before this forum, I didn’t know much about Hermes bags. When I would visit my mother I would always borrow one of her bags to go out with friends. I would gravitate to this one or the one in beige or black because they were the plainest, least matronly in her collection. On my last visit, I took a closer look at the H and the gold print on the bag and realized that for years I’d been tossing her Hermes bags on wet bars. For my last birthday, she sent me this bag.

Christie Alfie leather bag

Not sure about this Natalia Brilli bag. I haven’t worn it yet and not sure if it will live in my closet for a year before I use it.

Thanks for looking. I do so enjoy a good bag. I think that my favorites are the old ones. New bags are wonderful, but there's something to be said for old-school quality and design.
