No worries. I love the Peggy! It is actually my second Gucci bag with the bamboo handle (the first one I have donated to my sister). It's actually quite comfortable on my shoulders - but maybe I've got iron shoulders!? But if you're not convinced, it comes with a detachable leather strap.
