Well I went to Louis Vuitton to view the Damier Alzer 60 and 70, and I definitely want a 70, my SA said it would take maximum 6 months as it's a custom order, or if Paris has one they could send it over. So I think I will order soon. I'll keep posting!!

The Alzers hold up very well.
Our Alzer cases are over 20 years old, and they have had a good battering on commercial flights, but they are fantastic. There have been one of two bumps along the way, but they are insured on household-insurance.
In the past British Airways have paid for repairs, each time 2 of our cases were sent to Paris to be fixed and then delivered to our door directly. All cost covered by the airline :)
